Reincarnating As A Tragic Extra

Tragic Compelling Enchanting Those were the reviews for the masterpiece of a novel Some Loved It At First Sight, While Others Struggled To Understand The Hype. The story revolved around captivating and charismatic extras. Some were villains and some were heroes, yet one thing held them together, tragic backstories. It was the selling point of this novel To Have Empathizable Extras. To Have Extras That Were Interesting To them it was an masterpiece But to me, it was my way to rant, to complain about my unhappy life. Stage 4 Bone Cancer gave me a ticket to eternal rest, or so I thought. Begin The Story Of The Writer Who Wants To Redeem The World, To Make The World A Happy Ending That Was Not Just For The Protagonist. the image is ai generated and completely mine(I paid for this), call me stupid, pro was like 30 bucks but not my problem ¯\_(ツ )_/¯

Chapter 1: My Tragedy

Side Characters.

Characters that are not important in stories.

Some are kind extras, while others are stepping stones for the protagonist.

Novels, comics, whatever, transmigration usually takes the place of an evil extra, that would die soon.

The rising star of a novel, <Records Of The King>. Widely received. Praised even. It was a story with top-tier world building, a story with sad touching stories of villains. Likable villains, memorable villains and most importantly, empathizable villains.

The story had a unique pull. One that would make you keep reading, each character, better than the last.

It had perfect cliffhangers, a perfect drive. But the extras were so charismatic that the protagonist paled in comparison.

A story that was hard to classify. Some may love it at first sight, while others will never like it.

There was a long debate, whether the protagonist was the true protagonist, since he was really densely written.

But he was. Out of so many charismatic characters, the least appealing was the protagonist.

I proudly present to you, I, the author.

I liked the protagonist, not for any special reason but because he was fortunate. Fortunate to have a family that cared for him, a family that loved him and of course, a lover.

Everything I did not have, I wrote into him. A fantastical character of whatever I wished to have. It was my dream. A innocent childhood and true love.

Extra villains, I wrote them tragically, I wanted people to know that not everyone was like the protagonist, I wrote it to show contrast in lives. I wrote them as a symbolism for my tragedy

I wanted to raise awareness, or probably to rant my tragedy of a life into them.

A tragedy….

I write tragic endings for the villains, not for any reasons, but because I was about to reach the same fate as them.

I reserved the happy ending for only one person. The Protagonist, Radiant Alecar.

Why?

I wanted to have a happy ending.

Not to end pathetically in my hospital ward after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Bone Cancer.

I was fated for a tragic ending, no loved ones, no wife and nothing under me.

A life with pain and hardships. A life without anyone who loved me.

I wrote the story to both rant, and use it as a source of money to fund my cancer.

I charged exorbitant prices for new chapters, people would hate on me as greedy and others would just buy it and spread it to everyone.

But I really did not mind.

People read my novel and I had a solid fanbase. But not much really read on the actual site I posted.

There were many hate comments for the prices.

For example,

FuckThePrices: You motherfucker, treating as cash banks, four dollars for one chapter? Go ahead and rob a bank you idiot.

JellynFish: Too expensive, what are you having, you are high bro? Lmao.

KingOfWorld: A loyal fan, but fuck you and your prices.

Yeah those hate.

It was a well received story, so even when many do not want to pay, I still got a stable income.

This soon became my everything, this story.

My heart, my soul and my love.

I wrote the story to the best of my abilities, it was regarded as a masterpiece.

One of the more memorable extras, Servus Aterni.

He was once a nice guy and all.

But he had this very unique trait. Unlimited Regeneration.

This allowed him to heal, no matter what.

A perfect test subject.

He was experimented on as a child, he was tortured, and in pain.

His hair was once golden yellow, had turned to a ghostly white and eyes that were once emerald green, turned red, he became a demon.

A demonkind born from a contract to have his revenge. A contract with the queen of demons.

He was very good looking though.

Even if his heart was removed he would regenerate, he would always regenerate unless he is reduced to atoms.

Which was how he died.

Which in turn fueled another villain, the demon queen who liked him, one would call it obsessive love.

She sought revenge.

His backstory harbored many mixed feelings. Some felt sorry for him while some thought he deserved to die.

When writing him, I was determined for him to be memorable, even if it was in pain. He was a destined tragedy.

I truly loved all my characters. Even if they were completely evil.

Really.

I have no much longer to live. Perhaps I would die today.

But I must finish the paragraph.

The final story.

As much as I hated partings and endings, all journeys have their end. I had fun writing it. I felt joy.

-And they lived happily ever after.-

-The End-

It was over. The story. The journey of the protagonist came to a close. The show had ended.

Sad? Yes I was. But was it fun? It was.

Closing my eyes, I knew I fulfilled something as I embraced my eternal rest.

"It was…. Not as bad." I smiled while uttering my last words.

My journey in this world has ended. But one has also begun.

As I closed my eyes, death did not accept me. Instead I found myself in a baby crib, while listening to lullabies.

Servus Aterni means in Latin, Slave Of Eternity, most names in the story will be based off Latin words!
