"And is he really supposed to be dead?" A voice broke into Kael's self made banter.

Kael turned around to see who had said those words to him suddenly and to his surprise, it was Winnie. The same boy who had blurted out their whereabouts and gave more information about them to Amelia.

"Winnie." Kael subtly called as he tried to repress the excitement that had just filled his voice before the break in.

Winnie stood there, his hands fixated in his pockets like he had caught a cold or something. A smile graced his lips as he watched Kael and without being told, Kael knew his smile was telling a tale.

Winnie finally opened his mouth again to say something to Kael.

"You know what Kael, I know a little more secret of yours…the reason why Jason called in sick is you." Winnie said while snickering.

"What do you mean secret?" Kael questioned a small frown etching on his forehead. "And why am I the reason he called in sick?"
