Ch 9 : Mission Failed Successfully (Part 2)

They decided to split up.As Ivan ran forward on his chosen path,he kept looking around for any signs of the gorilla and the probably now dead steeled toothed wolf.

Ivan couldn't help but be anxious.He felt as if the time was running out with how long they had been out here.Unbesknown to him,he only had fifteen minutes left.He then spent ten of those minutes looking for the steeled toothed wolf.When he finally found it ,the big fisted gorilla was just finishing playing with the now dead wolf.It lazily stood up from the mangled corpse of the wolf and slowly walked away.

Ivan couldn't help but grit his teeth as he watched the gorilla slowly walking away.'Couldn't it pick up the pace!?' he thought as he tried not to glare at it.When it was finally out of sight ,Ivan quickly ran towards the wolf's mangled corpse.If it were another person they would probably vomit or feel sick at the sight of it but Ivan couldn't care less.He had seen much worse in his last life so something like this wouldn't bother him.He instead was focused on looking for the fang.He unhesitatingly drove his hand into the bloodied mess and began to search for the fang in the messy wolf's mouth.

When he finally saw it Ivan nearly laughed with joy.He took his dagger and was about to cut off the fang when his surroundings changed.A familiar disoriented feeling came over him .Before Ivan knew it he was looking down on the red dirt of the school's courtyard.Ivan almost cursed loudly.His luck was really bad! Suddenly a shadow covered him.As he slowly looked up he came face to face with Miss Crummond's evil smirking face.Ivan couldn't help but gulp as an uneasy feeling came over him...

As Ivan did the 200th push up he almost fell down in exhaustion.After failing the 'class work' in pe,he was subjected to 1000 push ups in his group's sectored room as punishment.A teacher who Ivan had never seen before was watching him from the far corner,so he didn't dare stop.He still didn't know what happened if he did stop but he didn't want to find out any time soon.

Ivan took a deep breath and continued.After doing the 500th push up Ivan was now breathing through his mouth.His whole body was drenched in sweat.Not to mention the fur on his ears and tail.'You have been through worst,you have been through worst.' Ivan kept telling himself.The only problem was that...he had been through worst..but not with this body!

If it was his body in his last life he would have surely been able to do 1000 push ups in record time.You would think that a body like that could defend it's self against a small paper clip wound.It must have been because he was malnourished.The only reason he was so strong in the first place was because he kept pushing himself,and... circumstances.'There's no use crying over spilt milk' Ivan thought trying to comfort himself as he continued.

Unknown to him or rather because he was so focused on doing push ups.He didn't know that the teacher,Mr Green was giving him a look of pity.Jay Green was a 25 year old young man who had just become a teacher.To test his resolve he decided to teach here when he happened to see online by coincidence that this school slash juvenile center needed a new teacher.

After researching he decided to give it a try.Now seeing such a small looking malnourished child doing so many pushups.Jay felt very guilty.Just looking at his body,you could tell that this child wasn't treated good at his home .Jay refused to believe the 'hadn't had his growth spurt yet ' bullshit written on his paper which Miss Crummond had shown him.

Infact no one who saw the papers believed it.But all they could see was only neglect.Yet because of Ivan's small form even they were not sure about this.Jay looked at Ivan with even more pity .If Ivan wasn't so distracted and if the situation allowed it.He would have definitely used Jay's pity to his advantage.But even if he had saw ,Ivan wouldn't have tried.These aren't normal teachers after all!

Doing the last push up with a trembling body,Ivan slumped down breathing very hard.He was lucky that he didn't pass out.Yet now he could see his vision beginning to blacken.Seeing that Ivan had fainted Jay scooped him up and almost cried out at how light he was! Sighing to himself he took Ivan to the nurses office.He had counted the amount of push ups that Ivan did and could tell that he had did all 1000 push ups.He would put it on his record later.

Placing Ivan's small body on one of the beds in the infirmary,he called out "Dr Kim!".Soon enough a nurse appeared.She looked very young and beautiful.When Dr Kim saw the unconscious Ivan on the bed, she immediately rushed over.She looked over his small trembling form in concern."What happened?" she asked as she began to check Ivan's vitals."He's new" Jay said simply.Dr Kim sighed and nodded in understanding.

Almost every new student that was sent here ended up like this after a week or so.Mostly because they haven't gotten used to the new environment and made a mistake.If Ivan had heard this explanation he would have surely cursed.If hadn't been for his rotten luck he wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place.But he unfortunately or fortunately hadn't heard this explanation.

After making sure that Ivan was alright,Dr Kim stood up from his bed.Jay who was observing the view quickly turned away as if he hadn't been looking.Dr Kim gave him an unimpressed stare.Feeling a bit uncomfortable from Dr Kim's stare,Jay decided to start up a conversation."So...Dr Kim,can I call you Danisha?" "No" "Dr Kim it is then" Dr Kim rolled her eyes and made her way towards the front door.Jay was quick to follow behind her,"Are you free this afternoon?" he asked as they both made their way through the door.

Dr Kim again rolled her eyes and continued walking.Not to be discouraged, Jay continued to follow her while trying to start a conversation.
