Ch 6 :Did He Forget Something?

Ivan sat back happily as he pat his slightly bulging stomach.The food had tasted too good ,so he had 'accidentally' eaten too much ."I am glad to see that you don't waste food Ivan." Jasmine nodded her head in approval.

Danielle rolled her eyes.She was just about to reprimand her when the bell rang.Every one immediately stood up and in an orderly fashion left the cafeteria.Ivan was a bit slow to react but luckily got in line right behind his group as Colin had remembered to drag him with him when getting up.

After being told the rules of this place ,Ivan figured that not saying anything would be the best choice as he followed behind Colin through the halls.A few moments passed and they finally went inside a very large room.The room was spilt into many smaller sectored rooms,it was more like a huge space ,all separated by a see through fence.All rooms or rather sections,had a number nailed inside.Currentley ,the one they were inside of was sector 54.They all then turned around and faced forward, keeping their selves in line.Ivan followed their example.Not even 30 seconds later a woman wearing a black, cleanly pressed uniform also came inside the room.

The uniform consisted of a tall waisted ,black pleated pants and a black necked blouse.The pants also had some lines coming down at the sides and was clearly apart of a uniform,she also wore some badges coming down on the right side of her blouse.Her high heeled army boots clanked against the cremated floor as she walked inside.She stopped in front of them and looked them over.She then focused her gaze on Ivan and smirked."Oh?Is this a newbie I see?" her smirk grew wider and a bad feeling came over Ivan.

"100 push ups right now!" a bit startled Ivan was a bit slow to react."Didn't you hear me!?100 push ups right now!" finally reacting Ivan went down and began to do the push ups.He was a bit clumsy at first due to the fact that it was the first time he was doing something like this.By the 8th push up he was breathing harshly and sweating buckets.He had wanted to stop by the 5th push up,but the warning glances the other's gave him made him abondoned the idea.

By the 20th push up he was practically trembling to stay up right .As he continued Ivan comforted himself 'I can do this! I've been through worst anyway!'.By the 50th push up ,Ivan's clothes were soaked through with sweat.His ears were pressed down on his head and even his fluffy tail was damp with sweat!At the 100th push up Ivan almost whimpered as he slumped to the ground completely spent .His whole body ached and his breathing was heavy and ragged.

"Hahahaha!Not bad newbie!I'm your instructor Miss Crummond!" she then suddenly stopped laughing as she glared at Ivan.Her whole demeanor changed!"Now get up before I make you."Ivan quickly stood up his whole body shaking."Now let's get on with this session's exercises,shall we?100 laps !Move it!" everyone quickly began moving.Ivan bit his tongue as to hold back the tears threatening to fall and followed behind them,his body trembling.

Ivan bursted through the door way of his dorm.His whole body shook as he made way towards the bathroom.He looked as if he had been to hell and back!

After taking a hot yet short bath Ivan threw on the blue with yellow striped pajamas on , which he saw in the single closet and made his way towards the bed he had woken up on.He was just about to slump down into it when Colin spoke to him.Ivan jolted and looked towards him ,it was clear that he had forgotten that Colin was here with him."You must be really tired right?Don't worry!It gets better over time."Ivan nodded before hurriedly getting under the covers.He completely ignored Colin as his tired body body practically melted into the bed.Colin shook his head before he too went to take a bath.He failed to notice the rumbling sound coming from Ivan's bed.

Ivan in his dozing state who suddenly heard this rumbling sound looked around in alert.He then realized it was coming from him! Suddenly wide awake, Ivan blushed in embarrassment.Was he purring?!He didn't know that foxes could purr ?!Ivan looked around wildly as he thought about what to do to make it stop,but after a while he realized that he couldn't think of anything! Slumping back down into the bed ,Ivan swallowed down his pride and prepared to sleep again.There was nothing he could do about it.He can only hope that by the time Colin comes out of the bathroom he was already sleeping.

Once again sleep took him over as he made himself comfortable in the bed.As he entered a half a sleep state,Ivan couldn't help but think that he forgot something.After nothing came to mind ,Ivan decided to deal with it tomorrow.

Suddenly disturbed Ivan hummed before going back to sleep.

The next morning Ivan is awaken by the alarm clock.He blinked opened his tired eyes and yawned.Colin ,who was on the top bunk bed groaned awake."Is it time to wake already?" Ivan asked him self aloud sorrowfully.Colin who heard him chuckled,"No,I always set the alarm 1 hour before we actually have to get up.".

"Why?"

"So I can...well ,we can get the sleep out of our bones."

Ivan nodded as he rested his still aching body back down on the bed.To tell the truth he was a bit shocked yesterday when he found out that Colin was his roommate,but yesterday he was too tired to care.While thinking of this Ivan suddenly remembered that last night he seemed to have heard something?He seemed to have heard something about a system?Now that he was recalling this,where were the systems he had been promised? Ivan's face grew dark.Was he scammed?If he remembered correctly, Diva,that beggar he was friends with in his previous life,and who used to be an author,told him that systems should be activated?

Pondering,he tried to remember the word she told him.Was it static?Statictus?Stitus?He began also searching through his new memories when he suddenly snapped his fingers in enlightenment.
