Now that, I look at it. This life of mine was the most fulfilling compared to other ones.

As for how it all started. 

(flash back, PoV change)

It all started in a white room, or an endlessly white space?

Never mind, it was a place perfectly white without a speck of dust, not presence of any darkness.

The ground, sky even the air itself seemed to illuminate by oneself, making even the shadows to not exist.

When I was alive people did say do something which will make your future bright.

If it's this kind of brightness they were talking about then, thank you, I don't need it.

I will start to feel too self-conscious without even knowing that.

Anyway, I am not the only one here, many people were there, some so them were alone while many had even started to make friends, or are they already grouped?

"How nice it is to be normies…" I said to myself with a self-depreciating smile.

I was even shocked at first to see how many people there were, at least thousands if not ten of thousands.

I have died once before, it but it was not like this.

When I died it was lonely, very lonely. Obviously, nothing like this flowery expanse and extrovert filled environment were there.

The first time I died it was hell.

That time I got to experience what it is like to die.

It was not a pleasant feeling at all.

First you will feel drowsiness creep up to you. Then you will see your whole life memories going through your eyes like a movie of sort.

Then comes the painful part.

You will feel like drowning in a black sea, weight enough to crush your soul and in sometimes enough to make you go insane.

My first life was not that special.

I don't remember much so…

Let's say my name was 'Mob0'.

I was born on modern earth. Sometime in between early twenty-first century.

Died in my late teens by 'the' bioweapon launched by a 'certain' country.

All in all, I didn't even get to live till I was 20.

Alas, my wish to become a wizard remained just a wish.

Good thing is that there was not one waiting for me at home, so I had no one to worry about.

But there was no problem because I was reborn again! This time as a son of a noble in certain sword and magic world.

This time I was born with everything I did not have in my last life.

Money, Looks and even talent.

Money of my parents who were really rich due to being 'decently' ranked nobles.

Looks once again thanks to my parents being extraordinarily good looking.

And the talent of being one of the 1 out of 1000 people who have an ability from birth.

Everything was heaven granted.

Though the bonus of having good looks was thousands of times greater than others.

I had really great blessing of the goddess of luck the day I was born.

Even I sometimes got jealous of my own looks. Forgetting that it's me myself.

With blond hair and azure-blue eyes, even when I was just a 4-year-old kid. I could see the shadow of a future monarch of Lady-Killer in myself.

I was soooo exceptional that it became the reason of my own death.

…Ha, jokes aside. Everything was fine it's just that I underestimated human jealousy, and the level of spoiling a child can go through.

Even I as a 10-year-old kid was not spared.

Apparently, some Manchild brat of an ancient Noble houses, got jealous of me even going as far as ordering assassins.

Donno if he just wanted to gain political power or just your everyday pedophile.

Apparently, it was some pervert high noble who wished to get married to the princess of the country who was more than decade younger than him.

Now, where do I came in this you ask. And no, she wasn't my crush/ first love/ childhood friend or something along the lines. I am not a pedophile.

The manchild saw the princess talking with me in a party even ignoring him when he approached, following me around as a ducklings follow the mother duck around, laughing and smiling whenever talking to me.

I just though she had great atheistic tastes, amused by the situation little did I know that just a few sentence of talk and laugher would be enough for someone to want to kill me.

He got so jealous that he even bore swear to kill me in his heart.

And there were those who wanted to curry favors of that guy, not involved but got involved.

The hell I don't even know you guys! Do you guys do not feel any shame in putting bounty on someone more than a decade or 2 younger than you!

The incident where I got accidently ambushed by bandits in our own territory and so started happening.

Not only me but even our family business started to get attacked, directly or indirectly during that time.

But as time passed the attacks stopped happening

When I felt that all of this will settle down by some time. No! That Did Not Happen!

Even more skilled and professional assassins started to appear.

Heck! I had even started to suspect that this was a secretly cultivation world.

But, in the end what happened which was supposed to happen.

I died …for the second time.

And that's how I came here.

As I was going through my own self history.

Something suddenly changed in the surroundings…

I saw a globe of multiple light glowing in the center of the white space.

The object or thing one may suspect what it is, just appeared out of this air.

As it appeared in here every one of those semi-transparent souls/ peoples directed their eyes towards it, leaving whatever talk they had going among them, and even stopping any activity they were doing.

Like a military parade they straightened themselves looking straight at it without making any sound.

For a moment I was surprised by this action, I mean who wouldn't be, it's like they were previously told to act like that or something.

I just followed suit; not like I had anything better to do.

What followed was the voice of the colorful sphere.

Yes! It spoke! Even though it doesn't even have a mouth.

"WelCOmE! Oh deAr chAllEngErS! AS I, The VOICE OF THE OMNIVERSE welcome you who haVE cHosEn by yOuR Multiverse's God aS a potential candidate. To TAKe part in mY TrIAl aNd pROVe youRself Worthy!!"

It said in an ominous voice which seemed to be mixed of dozens of voices. Male, female, old, young, happy, sad, screaming, gentle. But mostly emotionless and stoic. 

Its voice had the power which ordered all beings to pay attention, not to miss a single bit. Power which seems to be the law of nature itself, which governs the world by resourcefulness as well as by force.

Some even had a fanatical look as they stared at it, like they are looking at a god of sort.

Really strange…

If you ask me.

Less than a god, it seemed more like a Demon.

"YoU wIll bE giVEn number of minOr wiSheS aNd number of mAjOr wiSHes depending upon your karma! ThAt's aLl! PrOVe yoURself wOrTHy bY bEcoming thE strOngESt oR tHe oNe and oNLy!"

Just as it said that a blue translucent screen came in front of me and everyone else. Along with the long list of passage to read and the rules by which the karma points in calculated.

It even had a ranking which showed the name of people along with their rank and how many points they had the and lastly how many minor and major wishes they can ask.

Strangely enough… the names of everyone else other than me was hidden.

Why is only my name present? Is it like you can only look at your own name and karma points?

As I looked at the strange colored ball in hope that it will explain.

It just disappeared!

From start to finish the being said all it wanted to say, not asking for anyone's opinion nor giving any explanation for their current condition.

Surprisingly, no one even asked anything as if they knew this would happen.

Wait… Wait!! Am I the only one who doesn't know what is going on here!?!

And there even seems like groups among these peoples who are discussing what they have planned and what they are supposed to do.

Am I really the odd one out?

Just hope …no one finds out…

While the Tournament of 'God Succession Trial' was on going.

All the suitable candidates of multiple multiverses were present here, approved by their respective overseeing god of multiverse.

In this competition the goal is to raise a few successors to the gods who have meet their unfortunate end and… entertainment.

Yeah, the reason that various multiverse level gods requested the idea of such trial to the Voice of Omniverse is to have some entertainment in this ever-boring life which never seem to end and probably never will.

As for the consequences of having new multiverse level gods raising.

Not like most of them will be alive till they grow strong enough.

Even if they did…

What's there to fear about? They will have more people to suffer with them for eternity they are alive.

There are various candidates who are chosen, they may have varying differences but one thing they have similar is the strength of soul.

Each one to have a soul multiple times stronger than normal peoples… the first criteria to be eligible to join the tournament.

Second being high level of karma. Almost every one of these people was a great person in their last life.

Someone single handedly brought rise to an intergalactic Empire in their galaxy, with having multiple solar systems as a part of their territories.

While some destroyed more than a few alien civilizations which had the potential to rule the world if they were allowed to evolve for a few more thousand years.

And there were some who through their genius became known as father of Technology.

While there were some geniuses who discovered and spread existence of mana and magic.

In short, how their actions have somehow affected the world greatly. Such people are the one who have high karma points.

Depending on the said karma points some may be able to receive more than 5 or six major wishes.

That being said the one who is on the top of the said ranking can ask for 7 major and 3 minor wishes.

While dozens of them from second place can do 5 major and varying number of minor ones.

That being said, the minor wishes and major wishes both had their respective limits.

Like one ask for adaptation, evolution, unlimited talent and even the ability to copy other people's powers but…

T&C are applied~

These are some clauses which are making it so that the one on top of the list does not become 'Primordial Golden Creation Immortal Dragon Emperor God' of the cultivation world while others are still at 'body tempering' stage.

Still if one is smart enough and makes use of their brain good then they might really make some ultimately broken character without suffering from the side-effects.

That is if they really have multiple wishes to play at.

As the Blue screens appeared the pressure in the atmosphere increased.

Everyone was trying to do something unique, some were going for Saiyan physique with Garou template, while some wanted to be Raon Zeighart everyone had different choices and different worlds in mind as starting points.

When one decides their wishes, they got the chance to select the world they reincarnate in.

This option was especially loosely addressed so that the candidates may have ease when deciding their starting point.

Each person was a prominent figure in their world, even the one with least karma value had at least 3 major and variable minor wishes worth of karma.

So even if one had lesser number of perks, they had the confidence that they would be better than others because the powers they choose were the best one could have thought! And they knew it!

But there was an exception…

"No way in hell it's true!" Screamed Mob0 is fright. And that was the completely normal(?) reaction if one saw his profile on the blue screen.

Remark: Trash! How did you even get here!?! For formalities' sake, otherwise you won't even get 1 minor wish!

According to the information guideline and rules previously presented on the blue screen, one can change the 5 minor wishes to 1 major wish and vise-versa.

"Why do I only gain 3 minors if I want to exchange, this is straight up fraud!"

He said completely ignoring the part that he is at least given something for his 'impressively high' Karma points.

But he calmed down in some time as he knew he can't complaint anyone and if he did, they will surely realize that he was a bug in the system and will be removed swiftly.

With heavy heart he had to choose weather to choose between 1 major or 3 minor wishes.

He once again opened the guidelines option to look about scope and limits of wishes into it.

If minor wishes can grant some good abilities, then won't it be good to take 3 of those rather than one single wish?

After going through that he realized. "Minor wishes are not the way to go."

Heck even Major wishes have several limits one has to take in account!

Minor wishes can only grant minor powers such as rich background, above average talent in one field, random low tier zoan fruit, knowledge of magic or type of swordsmanship enough for one to rise above certain level in it, etc.,

While major wish can allow you to get almost anything, it's just that there may be unexpected drawbacks for abilities which are too strong.

While minor wish can grant you a super soldier serum, major wish can allow you to become smart enough make one by yourself.

So? Can't he just make himself smart enough to rival like of Thanos or Dr. Doom?

But seeing as the other person on his right murmuring about having one of their wishes as to becoming 10 times smarter than Reed Richards and Tony stark, and making do so by using their extra wish as an extinction of first one.

He became quite unsure that upon reincarnating he will really at least be someone average compared to these geniuses.

So, he pushed that thought onto one of the potential options and started looking out for more better perk he could think of.

Power to devour other people's power by killing them?

No, it has multiple limitations and what if he encountered someone stronger than him before becoming stronger by himself?

Power of copy other people's powers.

No, for the same reason as above.

Then what about adaptability and evolution?

No! He might become a formless grotesque monster who can't be human again and might even lose his mind.

So, what about Unique Skill: Great Sage?

Multiple people will have that along with the Unique Skill: Devour.

'Damnit! I can't think of anything!' He thought as he held his head banging it on the floor in a comical manor.

Just as he was trying to come up with another idea, he saw a new notification like message on the blue screen just as everyone else did.

You are going to reincarnate in 2 minutes. Make your wishes and select the world you want to reincarnate in.

With that a timer appeared in the corner of the transparent screen.

What is it now, Mob0 was unable to come up with any good idea with his limited 1 wish and now he got a timer to adhere.

Just as he was done typing the timer ended followed by a new notification in the center of the screen saying-

Still the wishes he chose were irrational some might say, but in haste he could only get that much out of his meager brain.

He thought of why now do the same thing as in overlord.

Make his own army of a Guild.

Play game while also gaining power.

He can also design a few NPCs with their character description being that they are as smart as Lex Luther and Reed Richards.

Make my own group of smart and strong supporters.

How cool is that!

And if things went right, he might even be able to get some hidden class and become strong enough to one shot other players of the game!

This is the idea he came up with.

Reincarnating into the world where he can become strong slowly but securely without having to interact with other reincarnaters.

Afterall there is no guaranty that they won't try to kill him on spot.

So, isn't it better to reincarnate in a world of variables with luck?

Afterall whatever happens even in other world and even after the luck will be with him.

With that thought in mind he chose what seemed right to him.

Just as he was done with that his body visibly relaxed.

Though he did notice that he spelled the world to reincarnate quite awkwardly. Hope the interpreter realizes and corrects it.

He began to look at his surroundings to see other semitransparent figures of those whose face and gender can't be distinguished all looking composed and …arrogant?

"…"

Don't tell me those few choose to reincarnate in a cultivation world with some made up bloodlines and physiques and are already getting accustomed to it?

As his thoughts started to wander a bright light enveloped everyone.

With that he along with everyone vanished turning into a golden streak of light travelling in a straight line towards their respective wormholes which will take them to their respective new worlds…

Their own new life.
