Chapter 11: Reaching the academy

The next morning.

*Yawn*. Eren slowly woke up. He rubbed his eyes and sat up on the bed. He then freshened up. After that to make his sleepy mood go, he did some exercises like stretching.

Then he looked at the bed. There was a lady who was sleeping soundly. She was none other than Lyrica. She didn't even bother to sleep properly. At night, she even kept her hand on him making sounds. Quite to the contrary what she thought.

If in his position anybody else was there, they wouldn't mind taking advantage of her sleepy state. She might be strong but when an attack comes unexpectedly, no one catrounce it.

Eren looked at Lyrica for some time. He thought 'She is too careless. She might be strong. But if I wanted, I could easily overpower her by using my elemental state.'

(AN: Yo! An elemental state means Eren will compress all the elemental affinities he has and absorbs them. It will give him a major boost in strength both physically and magically. It also makes him faster and increases his reaction speed. I hope you got what I am saying.)

After some time, Lyrica opened her eyes. She looked for Eren and saw him sitting in the chair and thinking of something else.

Eren then sensing her gaze, looked at her. Their eyes met. He said " Good morning, Lyri. How was your sleep?".

"Good morning to you too. I slept well." She replied. But there was a slight embarrassment in her voice.

Both of them took a bath and continued their journey.

They passed through forests. In one of the forest

Boom!

Eren could be seen fighting a beast that looked like a cat. It was bigger than the cat about three feet in length.

Eren sent a fire Ball. It hit the cat and the cat roared in pain. The cat retaliated by throwing a fire Ball of its own. The cat was a fire Elementalist.

Eren quickly dodged. He then boosted his speed with lightning and punched at the cat. Due to his already insane speed plus lightning-added speed, the hit that the beast suffered was deadlier than even what Lyrica could do with her strongest attack.

She looked at him in surprise.

Due to the punch of Eren, the cat died. He then took the loot and went back to Lyrica with a proud face.

His face was saying 'Heh! I am cooler than anyone else in the world.

The encounter with the beast continued for every hour. All of them were felt by Eren. He got more control of his new body and improved his elemental attacks.

They continued their journey and at last, they reached the city where his academy was located. The city was known as Mana city due to the academy.

Both went to the mountain on which the academy was located. The guards at the gate bowed to Lyrica and shot a curious gaze at Eren. Eren didn't bother and continued following Lyrica.

He asked, "Where are we going?"

"We are going to meet the principal so that your admission can be registered and you can get your room, uniform, badge, etc," Lyrica replied.

On their way, Eren saw students who bowed at Lyrica while not even sparing a glance at him.

They both entered a building in which the principal's office was located.

Inside the principal office.

Eren and Lyrica entered the office. There was a woman who looked in her mid-30s. She had black hair and was beautiful.

But Eren knew that their looks could be misleading. She might be older than a hundred years and will look in the mid 30s. She also excluded an aura that was stronger than Lyrica. This shows that she is a high leveled magician.

The principal looked at Eren curiously. Then, she looked at Lyrica for answers.

"His name is Atesh. He has an Affinity to both Lightning and fire. He is a dual Elementalist. The most surprising thing is that he has both the elements at the violet rank".

The principal was surprised. She has never in her life heard of or seen such a genius. She was sure that he will be a powerful figure in the future.

So, she introduced herself to Eren.

"My name is Nytri. I am the principal of this academy. I have high hopes for you". She was a woman of few words. She then sat on the chair.

(AN: Women of few words? … 'Man of few words is right, right? Do reply as paragraph comments.)

Nytri called a young lady and told her to bring a new uniform and badge to him. She looked at him trying to find his size and went to fetch the desired cloth.

After ten minutes, the lady came back with a uniform and a badge. She gave the uniform to Eren. She then said, "Allow some of your mana to flow into the badge so that it will be marked are yours".

Eren did as instructed, he was surprised to see a golden glow in the badge after it died down but didn't allow it to be shown on his face. He still kept his expressionless face. The young lady went back.

Lyrica looked at Eren and smiled. She was surprised to see the calm face of Eren. Normally, when a person first sees it, he/she would be surprised. But, Eren remained nonchalant.

In his soul realm.

'Bro, you are good at controlling your emotions.' Said Attie.

'Hehehe. It's just easy. You haven't seen what I am capable of. ' Eren replied.

'oh! I am looking forward to it.' Eren said in an amused voice.

Eren then went to search for his room. Lyrica told that his room was near hers. She also told them the way to his room.

After searching for some time, he found his room and went inside it. The room was spacious. He didn't do anything else and directly went to bed and fell asleep.

"Zzzzzzzzz" "zzzzzzzz". He fell asleep in a second.

In principal's office.

"Lyrica, I think you have something to tell to me," Nytri asked.

"Yes. It is of Attie. He is not simple as it seems." Lyrica replied.

"Oh! Why?"

"His full name is Atesh Greylash"

"Atesh G-Grey-Greylash?????." Nytri shouted in a fearful tone. But due to the voice cancellation array, her voice didn't get out. She then asked, "Who told you this?"

"It was his mother, Kuromi Greylash" Lyrica replied.

"It's a bit troublesome. Now, we have to treat him with utmost care. If anything happens to him, we are dead. By the way, does he know his family background?" Nytri asked.

"No. His mom told him that we shouldn't tell him about it. "

"Hmm. It's okay. Now you can go". Nytri said.

Lyrica then went to her room to sleep as she was also tired due to the journey.
