The Scarlet mist Incident (Part 1)

Richard(who is shapeshifted to look like Reimu) can be seen with Marisa in the hakurei shrine playing poker with each other 

Marisa: "You may as well fold I have a four of spades, ~ze"

In the middle of the table 5 cards can be seen in this order, 2 of clubs, 4 of diamonds, 4 of spades, queen of hearts, 4 of hearts.

Richard: "I call bullshit, its on the table right now"

Marisa turns her head away from her cards that she is holding to look at the table in front of her and a embarrassed smile grows on her face

Marisa: "oops, I guess I'm not the best at bluffing, ~ze."

Marisa then looks at the pot in the middle of the table and then visible begins to worry at the amount she had bet till now since it was half of the money she had brought here, although not much it was still a pretty penny

Marisa: "..."

Marisa: "I probably should quit while I'm just at half my money lost"

Marisa: "But 99% of gamblers quit it before they hit it big!"

Marisa: "I'm all in"

Richard looks at her like she is the most stupid person he has ever met and then face palms

Richard: "Fine, if that what you want."

Richard: "All in"

Richard then puts all of his coins into the centre nest to where Marisa had slammed hers

Marisa: "Reveal your cards in 3, 2, 1"

Marisa and Richard flips there cards over and they reveals their hands. As the cards lay exposed, a moment of anticipation hangs in the air.

Marisa: "Full house, queens over fours, ~ze."

She grins confidently, thinking she's secured the victory.

Richard, however, calmly reveals his hand: an ace of spades and a 4 of clubs.

Richard: "Looks like luck favoured the smart ones tonight."

Marisa's confident grin fades into a surprised expression as she takes in Richard's hand.

Marisa: "Four of a kind, huh? That's... unexpected, ~ze."

Richard maintains his calm demeanor, a subtle smirk playing on his lips.

Marisa, still processing the turn of events, chuckles.

Marisa: "Alright, Reimu, you got me this time. But don't think it'll be so easy next round, ~ze."

Richard: "Next round?, did you forget that you went all in?"

The reality of what just happened just set in for Marisa, and she realizes she has no money on hand right now. and stares blankly at "Reimu".

Marisa: " 0 - 0 "

Marisa: "Whelp, guess that's it, its getting late anyway I may as well go home ~ze"

Richard: "Leaving so soon, Marisa? You've got to know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em, after all."

Marisa, begrudgingly acknowledging her loss, gives a half-hearted salute.

Marisa: "Alright, alright. You got me this time, Reimu."

With a playful grin, she heads towards the exit.

Marisa: "Better luck next time, maybe you'll actually earn some donations for the shrine, ~ze."

As Marisa disappears into the night, Richard can't help but chuckle at the unexpected turn of events but it turns into a frown when he realized the events that will happen tomorrow.

Richard: "I have prepared as much as I can, The scarlet mist incident should happen tomorrow"

Richard: "I even learned how to fly with Gojo's ability, and I know the quickest route to the Scarlet Devil Mansion"

Richard then tries to remember more of what he was tried to learn but he comes to a sudden realization

Richard: "Huh, that's about it, shit how am I meant to pretend to be Reimu if I'm blasting cursed energy at people"

{Guys I love all the new comments for people putting donation but if its too op then I cant put it in, if its relevant to the story then I will probably put it in, and remember I'm an author I can fit random stuff in too, even just a block of cheese!, but anything too op is a no go, since it ruins the plot!, normally you could put random op stuff in since only 1 guy would comment but now there is multiple and I need to choose the best one, I don't like to pick twice in a row but the only usable one for the previous chapter was Kind_Charas donation(at the time of writing). But he has had his donation in this 3 times now!!!!}

Richard: "hmmm?"

Richard: "that's a bit sudden, and convenient"

Richard: "If its a positive one then yes"

Richard Looks at the screen in front of him with glee, since he has a way to attack while having his identity not be put into question

Richard: "Nice, this is what I was needing, but if I only have 3 uses then I can probably only go up against 3 people, but there is 4 people I need to be concerned of at the mansion"

Richard: "Oh before I forget, system show the description of these items]

[Understood]

When the user experiences large amounts of joy at the cost of another person, this skill will passively activate to form a large and inhuman grin, guaranteed to make the user look ugly while in use, this can also be activated manually

[ One time use Reimu spell card attack] x3

When engaged with battle with one or more people at once, upon activation of this spell card, you will gain the abilities of Reimu for the duration of the battle with the knowledge to use it as well, when the attacker is defeated or the battle being ended, or you being defeated. You will loss the ability.

Richard: "hmm, I'm probably never going to use that ugly face skill but this one time use card is better than I had thought, I get the powers for a damn whole fight"

As Richard contemplates the newly acquired abilities, he begins to strategize for the upcoming Scarlet Mist incident.

Richard: "With these abilities, I should have an advantage. The spell card attack can help me against three foes while maintaining the idea that I'm Reimu, and the ugly face... well, its a little err, useless."

Richard looks over to the window and notices the sky becoming dark rapidly fast

Richard: "Looks like its time to hit the hay"

As the night settles over Gensokyo, Richard finds himself contemplating the challenges that await him in the upcoming incident. The moonlight bathes the Hakurei Shrine in an ethereal glow, casting shadows that seem to dance with anticipation.

Richard: "Tomorrow, Scarlet Mist begins. I need to be prepared for whatever comes my way."

With a final glance at the moonlit landscape, he retires to his makeshift room at the shrine. As he lays down, thoughts of strategy and the weight of his new abilities echo in his mind.

Richard: "I've come a long way since my arrival in Gensokyo. Let's see if I can handle what's coming next."

The room is shrouded in darkness as Richard closes his eyes, drifting into a restless sleep, knowing that the challenges of Gensokyo will test not only his abilities but also his wit and adaptability.
