Prince of Monsters
As Josephine and her family prepare for the public assembly, Arthur finishes enjoying his breakfast with Margaret.
She notices him looking at all those nobles with a golden sparkle in his eyes, something she had seen in very intimate moments before.
'Why is he like this?' Margaret tries to understand Arthur, but she can't feel his emotions like Nyx, leaving her with only assumptions. 'Does he seem happy... proud... is it because they are talking about him? Or because... they are afraid of him?'
Margaret doesn't have an answer to that, and neither does Arthur. Only Nyx, being a part of him, with a unique perspective, sees how something in him is very different from Liam: the lineage of the Golden Lions, the gift and curse given by Draven.
The Leonhart blood running in Arthur's veins makes him enjoy being feared and being at the top of the food chain, something that never meant anything to Liam but now is an important part of him.
