Komiya Ena

In the morning, at exactly 5 AM, Natsuo woke up. This had been a habit of his even before he became rich. In the slums, one must be hardworking to survive or even barely survive. And even though he had become the richest person in the world in his past life, Natsuo had still retained the habit of waking up early even in this new life granted to him.

He immediately stood up off his bed, just so that his body will fully wake up. He started stretching and jumping up and down slightly to get his body working. There's this saying that 'our body is like a machine' and everybody or the majority of people knows that machines need to be heated up before using it. Natsuo is just conditioning his body for his workout later so in short, he is warming up.

Changing into sweatshirt and sweatpants, he headed downstairs and straight into the kitchen. His father is still asleep as expected, as Akihito usually wakes up around 7 AM before going to work at 8 AM. Natsuo took a banana with him as he heads towards the front door, he peeled the banana and ate it as he throws the banana peel in the trash bin.

He then wore a pair of black sneakers paired with white socks. His sweatpants were gray and had a white line vertically at the sides of his legs, while his sweatshirt white with only a smiley emoji at the front printed. He didn't wear these intentionally but his choice of outfit looks like it was transitioning from white to black. He had not intended it to be like this but he looks quite attractive in what he was wearing.

The workout routine he had made for his new body was something he believes he can easily do. His new body was 17 years old, which was already old enough to be able to lift heavyweights. Back in his previous life, at the age of 15, he was already working on a construction site, lifting heavy loads left and right and was lucky enough that it did not stunt his growth. The workout routine was: 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10 km run. It was something his previous body would just easily finish but it is something this new body of his would barely finish.

At the start, he first did a small jog to warm up his body. It was then followed by 20 push-ups, sit-ups, and squats. He did this in five sets to give time for his body to rest. He did the run last because it would take much more energy to do than these three.

Natsuo had to force himself to finish them before he slumped on the ground, catching his breath while gasping heavily. He had not felt this much exhausted in years, his previous body which had reached the pinnacle was not so easily exhausted. And he had not even started on the run, which was 10 km.

He stood up after a 10-minute break and started running around the neighborhood. If he wants to reach his goal of a 10 km run, he had to run a few dozen laps. Natsuo was determined to finish the workout he had started and he is not giving up just because his body can't take it.

And a few minutes past seven, he was done. Natsuo sat on the bench as he had decided to stop in the park because of the fresh air and the silence it gives. He had of course not forgotten about cooling down first before resting. Cooling down every after a workout is important and necessary as it improves the recovery of muscles and lessens cramping. It also lets the heart rate return close to resting.

(AN: Me BS-ing, move on to the next paragraph.)

Natsuo was contemplating on what novel he should cop- write, he was wondering what novel he should write.

In this world, entertainment such as music, books, games, mangas, and animes were so far behind in his previous world. Many famous works don't exist here and that gives him a perfect opportunity to use those works and gain profit.

If he plans to have a harem, he's not going to do it half-baked. To support the needs of his harem, he needs to have money, lots of it. And he also needs to have power and authority. Those three would always be needed in a fantasy world, cultivation world, or even in the modern world. Power, Wealth, and Authority.

Who can say that they can have a harem without one of these? Sure, there are several examples in the novels and mangas he had read or animes he had watched, but they are all fictional not real. Natsuo, even though he was not sure how he got reincarnated into the world of Domestic Girlfriend knows that this is not a story anymore, but his reality. And he doesn't want to depend on something unpredictable such as plot armor.

But first things first, he has to choose a novel from everything he knows of. Natsuo laughs a little after remembering something he had read. It was fanfic about a character reincarnating into alternate earth where the entertainment industry was not developed. And the protagonist was an otaku and he conveniently has an eidetic memory.

Natsuo's situation was slightly similar to that protagonist, only that. He is not an otaku and does not have an Eidetic Memory. But he was someone who owns a business empire that stretches all over the world, has the greatest memory ever known to mankind which was close to an Eidetic memory. And he is a businessman.

As someone who had not yet created any work, Natsuo had to make his reputation acceptable to everyone so that means no novel that is over the top. Examples would be Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared To You, and many others but you get the point. Although those two he had just mentioned something he had enjoyed reading in the past and had earned a crazy amount of cash, to an aspiring novelist, writing something like that, in the beginning, is a bit too much.

So Natsu had decided that if he would have to write anything, then it would be something that everyone can read, relate, and understand. And he had just the right novel in mind.

Your Name

It is a Japanese novel written by Makoto Shinkai. It is the novelization of the animated film of the same name. Your Name tells a story of a high school boy in Tokyo, Taki, and a high school girl in a rural town, Mitsuha who suddenly and inexplicably begins to swap bodies. And the biggest twist about this is that Mituha was swapping bodies with the Taki three years in the future.

(AN: If anyone has a better summary than the one I just wrote, please comment it in this paragraph. I have created this in a rush so the novel summary might be slightly off. I did not even mention the comet.)

Natsuo thought that if it's this novel, then surely it would be a big hit. Just thinking about writing it makes his heart giddy, after all, it was one of the few novels that made him feel that it's not so bad to fall in love after all, plus, it made him cry.

Having fully rested with his renewed vigor to immediately start writing the novel, Natsuo stood up so suddenly that he failed to notice the girl walking towards him from his right, resulting in them bumping to each other. And because Natsuo was stronger and had the momentum, the girl fell, crashing on the ground hard, creating a large crater. Pfftt...

Actually...

The girl almost fell on the ground after they bumped into each other, but Natsuo's quick reflexes immediately caught her hand before she fell. The girl stared wide-eyed at Natsuo while Natsuo was also staring at the girl, smiling sheepishly.

"Sorry about that, didn't see you coming."

Natsuo pulled the girl and help her regain her balance, he then bowed and apologize for what happened. He let the excitement get to him that he didn't even notice that someone was approaching him.

"Ah, no, it's okay."

The girl furiously shook her head and wave her hand, her face was slightly red but she was still smiling, though a little bit awkwardly.

The girl has shoulder-length light brown and slightly frilly hair. Her brown eyes were shining as she looks at him, on her hands was a camera. She was wearing a blue sweatshirt and a brown skirt.

Natsuo nodded at her, he then asked,

"So, what do you want to ask?"

"You knew?"

The girl was a little taken aback when he asked her this question. She immediately held her camera and showed him a side photo of him while he was sitting on the bench and staring at the sky. The deep profound feel that his eyes emit was captured and the peaceful surrounding just highlighted the feeling of tranquility that can be felt from the photo.

"I want to ask if I can use your photo in a competition."

The girl said her intention on approaching him. Natsuo was a little surprised by her question.

"You do know that you can just use it without asking my permission, right?"

This was what other people would do.

"Yes, I know. But I don't want others to feel uncomfortable and I don't want to use others' photos without permission."

Seeing this smile, Natsuo also subconsciously let out a smile. This girl's smile was contagious, just how can she smile while saying something so serious. He then felt curious about who this girl is.

"How about we talk about it over a nice, tofu pudding?"

Natsuo asks after he saw a granny selling tofu pudding nearby. The girl nodded her head.

"By the way, my name's Fuji Natsuo. You can just call me Natsuo."

The girl turned back and smiled.

"Komiya Ena, you can also call Ena, Natsuo-san."

I have tried writing in the 3rd POV as it is really hard to express the other characters feeling in 1st POV. Let me know if you guys like this one so I can proceed to write. There will be chapters about a certain character's POV.

I also have to brainstorm a bit more, because I didn't want to change the characters introduced by akikan in the original fanfic. I decided to make a much more logical reason for their meeting rather than just bumping into each other. And I have also changed the first book to Your Name, give me your thoughts about these changes.
