Reincarnated As The Villainess's Twin Brother {BL}

There's a popular dark romance Otome game called 'Dark Clouds.' Almost everyone who was someone had played it at some point. Correction. Everyone who was a female had played it at least once. And Long Wei who so happened to be a guy had bought the game out of pure curiosity and played it. Haru, his roommate, who played a big part in persuading Long Wei to buy 'Dark Clouds.' Had played every route imaginable in the game. She was so obsessed that with every two choices made, there were 4 new possibilities formed. At some point when she was done with her own storyline she began to play his. But even after all that Long Wei quickly got bored and gave up. The games plotline was simple but the storyline was chaotic. He had quickly grown tired of it all and tossed it to the side. He didn't understand all the hype it got. To him, the game was mediocre at best. Or at least that's what Long Wei had thought before he went to bed then woke up in the body of Zvei Anderson. An insignificant side character in the game who had died from the corruption of his own divine power. A character that was so canon fodder, he wasn't even used as a stepping stone for the FL and ML's love story. And to make matters worse, the character Zvei Anderson was captured and killed off screen in a way that would make even the devil weep. An end far worse then what the real villain herself had experienced. In the church of The Holy Grail, and Sun Temple of the Light God, there is no room for evil nor the corrupted. So Zvei death was imminent. But who could have predicted that Long Wei would meet his demise the same way? Now a noble Bishop filled with divine power that is both corrupted and pure, Long Wei has to find a plot route that will keep him alive and out of harms way until the main story is over. Yet why is it, that the more he tries to stay away from the main story, the more he gets involved in it. And to add why are all the ML's suddenly.... How dare he say...? Gay. Isn't this a 'straight' Otome game?

Chapter 2

Other than playing the game, in any case, there appeared to be no other component that might have caused his transmigration.

After much thought there was nothing else he could think of.

Zvei gave a shrug of his shoulders; there was no use dwelling on the fact that, even if he desired to, he could not return to his home world. For all he knew, there was no return path for him.

Sighing, he started to make his way back to his room when suddenly his legs gave way and he tumbled harshly to the ground with a loud thud.

Shit-

His breathing quickened and his body trembled uncontrollably. The pain in his head had returned and it came back with vengeance. It felt like his brain was being stabbed with thousands of pens and needles.

"Fuck!-" Zvei hissed as he wrapped both hands around his head protectively and rolled himself into a ball.

His mind was suddenly flooded with flashing images and random conversations, inserting memories of a life that was not his. The images ranged in time from infancy to adulthood, and some of the images were clear, while others were hazy and difficult to grasp.

As the cycle of events progressed, the pain became so intense that he was unable to think clearly.

His consciousness experienced a sensation of displacement and a sense of being sucked into a dark abyss, for which there was no way to escape. The pain had become so agonizing that he soon fell unconscious on the bathroom floor.

When Zvei had woke up again there was a heavy knock at the door. The old servant called out, "Mr. Zvei! Mr. Zvei, is everything all right in there?" He looked at the shut bathroom door with a puzzled expression.

It had been nearly an hour, and he had still not heard from his master. It was wrong of him to enter back into the room after being sent away, but he was worried. So he knocked at the bathroom door but deared not to open it, fearing any further punishment.

As he sat up in a daze, Zvei groaned again. For some reason, he felt angry and irritated. He was overcome with a rush of over-stimulated emotions. His heart throbbed, and his hands trembled uncontrollably. Black smoke with a mixture of violet began to drift around him and his hands emitted a thick fog. When he looked forward into the mirror in front of him, his eyes were pitch black like a demon's.

*Ba dump! * Ba dump! * Ba dump!*

He could hear and feel his heart pound loudly and forcefully through his chest. It seemed as though it would break free and escape from inside at any moment.

"Lord Zvei!" There was a second knock on the door, and it was louder than before. "Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"

Zvei was silent. He tried hard to hold back his sudden impulse of anger. He frowned.

Didn't I tell that old geezer to wait outside?!

"Lord Zvei?..."

Why is he disobeying my orders? Is he tired of living?!

For some reason, the young man felt compelled to bleed his servant dry, but he was wise enough to recognize that these vile thoughts were not his.

It was clear that the darkness within him was beginning to resurface again, and the underlying cause of it all was the imbalance of two different types of divine energy.

This was due to the fact that in the story, the character Zvei had already began to sin and conduct forbidden experiments on the dead bodies of Deviants. Demon-like creatures that were created five hundred years ago from the blight. A long-lasting scourge that has plagued the Starlight Continent for centuries till this day.

To simply put, as a result of the original character's decision to cultivate Dark Divinity, the current Zvei was experiencing internal conflict from the mixture of both dark divinity and divine light.

It was dangerous enough to have two different existing attributes within you, but to have two existing attributes that were polar opposites to one another was even more dangerous. As a Holy Bishop, to even contemplate the use of dark divinity was blasphemy to both the church of The Holy Grail, and the Sun Temple of the Light God.

And it was thanks to original that the present Zvei was in so much pain right now. The original's sin was just too unforgivable!

"Lord Zvei-"

"Get out!" Zvei didn't give the old servant another chance to speak. "Get the hell out of my room!" He commanded in a voice that was so black and cold that it seemed almost monstrous, the tone so dangerous and so empty that the old man felt all the hairs on his body stand on end. Not wasting a second he quickly left.

Zvei tried to calm down as best as he could and began to chant mantras that his body was familiar with to overcome this turmoil. Yet the more he chanted the more pain he felt. At this point he was sweating figurously, his complexion pale as the dead and his body was once again on the verge of passing out.

But just when he was about to give up and collapse onto the bathroom floor again, a voice that was cold yet gentle was heard clearly within his consciousness.

'The bath water.'

Huh?

'Enter the bath and the pain will lesson.'

....What?!

Had he gone insane that swiftly?

Was he in so much pain that he was now hearing voices?

A melodic chuckle vibrated through the cold air. "You haven't gone insane. But if you don't make an effort to move now, you'll die."

Move? How could he move? He was incapable of moving, in fact he could barely muster up any more strength to continue to respond to this mysterious voice.

In the end it looked as if he was really going to die.

"Hmm... Humans are indeed feeble beings."

A moment passed and a pair of cold slender hands had attached themselves to Zvei's back, and he could feel a surge of dark divinty overwhelm his entire being. He screamed in agony yet no sound escaped from his lips, the scream trapped on the tip of his tongue.

What in the actual fuck!

The pain had suddenly intensified to the max.

"Hold on for just a little longer."

Zvei was shivering before but now he was shaking like he was having a seizure, and maybe he was. At first he could feel the divine light suppressing the darkness but now the divine light could no longer hold it at bay. And so the power scale had quickly shifted to an even playground, and slowly but surely the two attributes within him began to mix together.

Should such a thing be possible?

As far as Zvei knew, it wasn't.

But as a result, he began to throw up mouth fulls of his own blood. The color a black milky red.

Stop...stop- I said stop!

It was too much for Zvei to handle. He had lived for twenty-four years, and this was the worst pain he had ever experienced.

Is this what death felt like?

Am I dying?

Just as Zvei began to consider his death, both divine energies within him had slowly but cohesively merged with one another into a harmonious system. The excruciating pain had stopped but the feeling of it had lingered.

The hand Zvei had felt on his back had vanished, leaving behind a remembrance of the severe anguish it had inflicted.

"Haa..." Zvei let out a sigh of tiredness, unable to find the energy to move even a fingertip.

He couldn't find a single word at this moment that would perfectly describe the hate he had toward to the original character right about now. If only he could strangle the idiot. An insignificant side character indeed.

Didn't even waste a second in turning to the dark side. Already fumbling around with dark magic. Drinking himself into a frenzy and somehow summoning a demon at the end of it all.

The same race that served the Dark God and desired nothing more than to engulf the entire continent in misery, anguish, and darkness.

A fucking Demon!

"Not exactly." The mystery voice disputed matter-of-factly, their tone frigid but sensuous. "I am much more than that."

Zvei frowned, but replied carefully. "If not a demon then what are you?"
