Chapter 43: Detour

And I hate rewriting certain scenes from other shows, because I'll have to go back and rewatch or reread them, for the digimon arc I scowered the entire wiki for my info, even resorting to YouTube videos! So it's been a week and I have about three months to make it to Patch village and guess what I'll be there in a few hours.

Ranna:"Man I never thought evolving would feel so good!"

Lilly:[You've been saying that for five days now shut up!] said Lilly who was playing poker with Riza and Barbamon. Belphemon was still asleep. Rio, Sheng and Meilee were sparring in the digivice space everyone was off to their devices.

I landed infront of a cave entrance with tourist around the place, I went in ignoring them and found patch village. I then found the city and saw a giant white beam what I saw next was...mesmerizing it was...history, trillions of souls animals humans. It was beautiful.

Issei:"So beautiful now I sorta wanna win it. But leaving with it would probably cause some issues." I want to become strong but not at the cost of the balance of entire worlds.

???:"Welcome." said an elderly voice, I looked downwards and saw it was Goldva the Patch chieftan.

Issei:"Nice to meet am I the only one here at the moment?"

Goldva:"I didn't think they'd be any participants who'd be this early."

Issei:"I see I'm good at cooking why don't I start up a barbecue." The elder looked at me quizzically before sighing.

Goldva:"Do what you will there are number of lodgings around just ask." I nod and went off.

The first few I opened up and stand and started selling kids and their parents started to line up in interest and my food was a God send I gave some of the business pointers and with the help of the Library of Heavens Path I was able to find the faults in thier cooking and gave them help which MAX out my [Teaching] skill.

Issei:"You guys want some hot dogs or hamburgers? I have some fries to and soda if you want any."

Amidamaru:"Yoh this man his movements!"

Yoh:"I know it's perfect without any wasted movements." said Yoh calmly.

Horohoro:"What are you whispering about Yoh?"

Yoh:"Nothing much. Onii-san are you in the shaman fight?"

Issei:"Yeah I am I've been making some food for the Patch Tribe and the contestants I'm actually the first one to arrive here. I think I came here in the first week." They all looked at me shock.

Ren:"No way that's not possible! I can accept you defeating me, but I refuse to believe you can arrive here that fast!"

Issei:"Ren-kun Oversouls can do anything, the sky is the limit with them you can use anything as a medium, it all depends on Shaman's understanding of what he's doing." They all took something to eat and went their ways. Then team Hao came in.

Hao:"Oh! this smell is amazing is that your food?"

Issei:"Yeah it is want some?"

Hao:"Sure!" his entire team took some they got lost on their past as they ate. They all went to their lodgings.

Issei:"I should return to my team." Yeah I have a team whaddya think I need one to participate in the next part of the tournament. My teammates are however nobodies who ever mentioned in the story. They probably were contestants in the tournament are they got killed by other shamans.

Issei:"Hey guys I've finished with work today." I girl with spectacles came into view she was incredibly cute she also had freckles along her face but that only seem to make her more beautiful she was Sarah. And there was also a young man with dark brown skin and an afro this is Richard.

Sarah:"Hey Issei your finally back huh?"

Issei:"Yeah the 'real' shaman fight should be starting soon. By the way I never asked why are you guys joining?"

Richard:"Simple came from a family shamans learned about all the stuff they did, me being able to see the dead had no other choice to believe it. My family got molly whopped the last shaman fight so I wanted to be able to win for them."

Sarah:"My parents were Archeologists and shamans who died in an accident they were investigating the Patch's history they had a dream. To find all historical facts and not assumption, they were suppose to participate in the shaman fight. But they already passed so I wanted to achieve their dream for them."

Issei:"I see

And so canon went on, with my help Richard and Sarah was able to reach far in the tournament. I ignored some of the other battles that took place basically the rest of the plot like the X-Laws sacrificing themselves to find Hoa's weakness.

I'll be keeping myself out of this one. I'll just play the nobody. Like Yoh always say 'It'll work out somehow'. But I sure as hell watched the fights though these are scenes I never saw animated, and I'm getting to see them real life especially Hao casually blocking an attack from the speed of light.

And so Sarah Richard and I was able to make it to the semi finals they have grown stronger with my training them and teaching them armoured oversoul and all. What their my friends?! Thought I had to knock Ren's team out the poor guy can't catch a break.

It was now time for Hao to fight the entire fleet of ships. I took out my popcorn and watched with the main cast, the fleet was led Manta's father, his family is just that rich was completely slapped by Hao. Hao then landed back on the shore.

When Yoh told them the training they did in Hell which made them completely different people in one day. Hao did that for a thousand years. Which his furyoku count is over one million. Mine is only so big because I used the furyoku cultivation technique, it's from a timeline where the world is run by shamans and with the library of heavens path finding all faults was easy and that's why my furyoku count is so high.

Issei:"So you guys trained in hell too that Taizan Fukun guy was pretty weak huh! Haha!" Everyone looked at me.

Hao:"Interesting!" he said with a smile. We were then taken to the lost continent Mu on the patches submarine as we arrived everyone else gave up.

Sarah:"Issei we should give up.

Richard:"Yeah Sarah's right seeing that guy rip through an entire army was a wake wakeup call. I'll be staying out of this one."

Issei:"I guess so I'll fighting Hao alone then." this shocked everyone there.

Ryu:"Oi! How can beat that guy!"

Richard:"Dude don't this you don't have to risk your life just to be shaman king!"

Sarah:"He's right please Issei!"

Issei:"I don't wanna be shaman king." This again shocked everyone.

Jeanne:"Then why are you here?" said the Iron maiden.

Issei:"Simple to train." Everyone looked at me like a I grew a second head.

Issei:"Anyway this won't be an official part of the shaman fight. I just wanna see how far the strongest of this world is." I took out Ascalon II and a small black sword and summon the Boosted Gear in dying will mode.

\TRIPLE O.S SCARLET KNIGHT DRAGON ARMOUR!!!/

An armour similar to my other O.S \ARMORED O.S DRAGON FIST BOOSTER/ except it had silver and black parts, I also had an additional black katana and a silver katana in my right and left hand of my O.S.

Hao:"Alright then."

We dashed towards each other Hao's O.S threw a claw attack covered with flames, I blocked it with my silver katana and countered with black katana he however dodge and fired a Lazer attack from his cannons. I also fired did the same but the flames, I used were all my current flames fused.

I slowly overpowered him as he swallowed by the blast and thrown into the ceiling of underwater cave.

Yoh:"No way he's overpowering him!"

Amidamaru:"It seems so Yoh-dono!" said the samurai spirit.

Jeanne:"If I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it!"

Issei:"Right now your thinking why can't I read him!" Hao looked pissed his face but his face was marked with shock when I said those words.

Hao:"You can read minds like I can!"

Issei:"Haha! Of course I can, except I'm able to control it I can turn it in and off when I feel like it!" This shocked everyone.

Hao:"Tch! Don't lie to me!" he blasted towards me at speeds faster than sound I dodged his attacking by moving to me the left and we both blasted off the in the sky clashing over and over again.

I use my cannons and fire what I call [All Flame] it's a mix of all of my flames. This is possible due to the sky dying will flames which harmonizes them. Hao was able dodged it and we clashed again and again. I fired two sword beams at him, which he block but it only minimize the damage he sent him flying down to the ground.

Opacho:"Hao-sama!"said the child worried.

Chrom:"So he was the person you wanted to fight Issei." said Chrom admist all the sonic booms.

Hao:"Why are you standing in my way!"

Issei:"I'm not standing in your way, after this fight you will become the shaman king. I don't want to become God of the of this world. If I did I'd either destroy humanity or save them as they do have some redeeming qualities." My words shocked everyone.

As much as I hate the God who destroyed humanity from my world. I'd probably do the same if things were really going to shit, but he didn't have to start a war, he could've simply erased us no pain no struggle, he was all present, all seeing, all powerful. Not only that humanity were to blame we just had to wanted more and more.

Hao:"Then why don't you want to be shaman king?" said the Omniyouji calmly.

Issei:"Simple with time they will destroy themselves why should I interfere when time will do it for me. I can't become shaman king this is not even my home world." This confused and shocked everyone. I landed on the ground Hao did the same.

Issei:"I'm not from this universe I'm a multiverse traveller."

Sarah:"Multiverse traveller?" I then undid my O.S and Hao did the same. I took out my ticket and called the multiverse train everyone looked shock to see a train fly down from a portal.

Issei:"I'm Issei Hyoudou a multiverse traveller. This is just one of the infinite variants of this universes that exist. Sarah, Richard it was fun. I'll be leaving now I gotta go home." I jumped on the train and flew off.

Hao:"Multiverse infinite universes." said Hao as I left.
