Chapter 25 - Demonstration

---Orario, 3rd Person POV---

"It's unlike you to come rushing over this early.", Freya laughed sipping on coffee, "Poor Loki isn't going to be happy when she gets here. You know she isn't a morning person, especially after a night of drinking."

"I know, but this information can't wait.", Astraea apologized with a smirk.

Waiting for a few minutes, they heard a familiar voice yelling her complaints in the hall. Stifling their laughter as she got to the door, she threw the door open in an angry huff. Wearing her pajamas still, she didn't look happy about being woken up so early.

"Ya know what time it is!? The blood sun ain't up, and neither should we!!", Loki spat rubbing her head, "Your bloody messenger was banging on the door so loud...it gave me a headache!!"

"I am sorry Loki, I will have a word with them after the meeting.", Freya assured her hiding her amusement well.

"Whatcha wanna talk about this early?", Loki sighed taking a seat with a glass of water, "It better be important for you to drag me out of bed this early! I need my beauty sleep don't cha know!"

"I acquired some information on the Evilus this morning.", Astraea told them, "I have the names of five deities linked to them."

Spitting her water out, Loki slammed the glass on the table.

"Say wat!?", she gasped, "One of yer ladies find something out?"

"No, you remember Bella's older brother Mael?", Astraea asked, "He came to see me this morning, he came back to warn me of an upcoming attack."

'Interesting...no one reported his arrival to me.', Freya thought listening closely.

"You mean that weird kid, the one that was really big for his age?", Loki questioned feinting ignorance, 'Of course I remember him, he's on my list of people to recruit into my Familia!!'

Explaining to them what she had been told, she told them about the man-made dungeon, the smuggler, and the monster raising that was going on. All of it was a bit far fetched, but it did make a lot of sense. Since Hera and Zeus were forced out, they had been working on suppressing the Evilus and had been having the same issues of pinning them down. The existence of a man-made dungeon would explain quite a lot of things to them, but the thought their own kin were raising monsters made this dangerous for all parties. If the monsters managed to somehow steal some divinity...the situation could go from worse to disastrous.

"This is happin in two years?", Loki questioned, "That's a lot of time to raise a horde of monsters. It explains why the haul from the Dungeon has been dropping off lately. Those bastards are stealin our money!! Drinking ain't cheap!!"

"The way he said it, I don't think it's only a horde of monsters...I think they are trying to raise a Juggernaut.", Astraea stated with concern, "With the only two Rank 7 Adventurers in Orario gone...we wouldn't be able to stop one without a major blow to our children. If they raise two or more, we don't have the manpower to stop that in Orario."

"Agreed, that would make the most sense given the lack of Level Seven or Higher Adventurers. I could see them raising a few elites along with a horde of monsters.", Freya remarked, "If the man-made dungeon exists...they could funnel the grunts to the walls of the city to pull our main forces, and use the elites to kill us and our guards. Actually...this plan is very similar to one Thanatos used in the past on us."

"Yea, I get what yer sayin.", Loki admitted remembering something vaguely like this before, "We need to confirm the presence of the man-made dungeon before we make a move."

"...also, Mael told me that if we can't stop them before the attack...he will personally eradicate the five Familias and their deities himself.", Astraea told them, "He means to kill all five of them himself."

"He does know what the consequences of doing that are, right?", Loki questioned unable to hide her smirk, 'I'd pay good money to see that, those lot are a pain in the ass anyways. Ain't no one gonna cry for their loss.'

"Yes...but that's when I felt an otherworldly power from him. Freya, I apologize for doubting you...I do think he is a Demigod or something stronger than one.", Astraea apologized, "My divinity weakened under his gaze..."

Cracking a smile, Freya knew that her hunch was right. Mael was no ordinary person, and Astraea's expression told her enough to believe he had the capability to kill their kin without consequence. Agreeing to work together on this, Loki and Freya wanted a chance to get on Mael's good side and get revenge for the children they had lost over the years to them.

"I will have some of my children keep tabs on the five Familias.", Freya said.

"Same.", Loki stated.

"I can have mine increase patrols in that area, and hopefully force them into action.", Astraea remarked.

With their plan made, three of them started working on eliminating the Evilus.

---Avatar World---

Moving to the Avatar World, I found myself sitting under a tree in a vaguely familiar courtyard. Looking around, I saw an ornate water fountain along with a well maintained garden around me.

"Well well, taking another nap under the tree?", a female voice sighed, "I don't see why Uncle voluntarily took you in. You're a waste of space in our family."

Turning back I saw Azula standing there with a smug look on her face. Judging by her appearance she was probably around 8 or so right now.

"Don't you have something better to do than bother me?", I replied.

"You are always skipping Firebending Training to lounge around all day, are you too much of a coward to bend?", she snickered.

"Not really, I know you'd be upset if I outdid you so I don't practice around any of you.", I remarked with a smirk.

"Just because you are my Uncle's adopted son doesn't mean you are special.", Azula hissed.

"Go play with your friends Mai and Ty Lee.", I sighed with annoyance.

Grabbing my arm in anger, I looked at her with a slight bit of annoyance. Pulling my arm away, I asked her why she was still here.

"I am trying to be nice, and tell you that lunch is ready...", she huffed.

"Stop being nice, you suck at it.", I said getting up from my spot, "Let's go."

Grumbling to herself, I followed behind her laughing in my head. Teasing her was easier than teasing Jane was when I was a kid. Azula was one woman in this new life that I definitely would be adding to my harem. Some training and persuasion would be needed, but ultimately she would fall in line. Taking a seat at the table in the garden, I noticed that Ozai and Azulon were absent which I felt was about right.

"I found him...", Azula sighed taking her seat.

"Because I was so far to find.", I snickered.

"Both of you please stop fighting.", Ursa pleaded with an exhausted look.

Saying she would drop it, Azula kicked my shin. Kicking her back, she yelp and glared at me.

"Sorry, my fault.", I said hiding a smirk.

Zuko looked amused by the teasing she was enduring, as did Mai and Ty Lee. Eating my meal in silence, I listened carefully to world events at that time. According to Ursa, it looked like the events of the six hundred day siege was currently ongoing. My adopted brother, Lu Ten, was still alive and fighting on the front lines as well. As Zuko and Azula talked about other ongoing events, two things stuck out in my mind.

'This is the same year that Katara's mother gets taken away and the year right before Lu Ten dies.', I thought, 'I got to save both people, and sabotage the invasion. It's the grief and his finding peace that makes Iroh so calm and collected in the future. Saving Lu Ten means I have to spark something else to make that happen.'

Iroh was already a spiritual man, but at this point in time he was more concerned with living up to his father and grandfather's expectation. While that drive isn't necessarily bad, he would conqueror Ba Sing Se if I didn't stop him. Killing Azulon would likely be sufficient to do that, and frankly I could careless about him. He was an ass hat anyways so there wasn't anything to worry about there.

"Mael is something wrong?", Ursa asked.

"No, I was just thinking about some books I have been reading is all.", I replied.

"I see, how is your Firebending training going?", she inquired.

"It is going well.", I remarked with a smile, "See."

Forming a small blue sun in my hands, everyone at the table was shocked how well it looked. I knew that Firebenders usually couldn't form objects that easily so I felt this was sufficient to show progress on.

"My word, I haven't ever seen such a brilliant blue flame!", Ursa gasped.

'Wait...that's what you are stuck on?! A perfect replica of the Sun, and you get stuck on the fact its blue...ugh.', I thought with annoyance.

Praising me for my display, Ursa seemed genuinely happy for me. Zuko thought it was cool along with Mai and Ty Lee, as for Azula...I could feel her staring dagger into my head. Ignoring her, I finished my lunch and excused myself.

---Earthland 3rd Person POV---

"What do you mean he left already!!", Lucy shouted, "He didn't even say goodbye to us!"

"Yeah, do we mean that little to him!", Lisanna said puffing her cheeks.

"He did say goodbye, you slept through it.", Irene teased them, "It was a rather romantic goodbye. Do you want to know?"

Looking at each other, she saw them hesitate on deciding what they wanted to do. On one hand they didn't because they wouldn't remember, but on the other their curiosity was killing them.

"I want to know.", Juvia spoke up first.

Cracking a smile, she motioned for Juvia to come over. Whispering what he had done, Juvia's face turned bright red as steam came pouring out of her head. Hiding her face, Juvia ran around before crashing into the counter.

"What did he do!?", the others asked very curious now.

"He said goodbye to each of you after kissing you on the forehead.", Irene told them.

"Oh is that...WHAT!?", Brandish shrieked.

Fainting on the spot, Sorano and Lisanna were out cold while the others acted extremely bashful. Irene thought the actions were adorable, but the boys didn't. The thought of kissing a girl had yet to appeal to them so they thought it was weird for a boy to do that. Knowing they would understand one day, Irene ignored it.

"Anyways, we can call him if we need anything. He will be back in two years so you have time to get stronger and improve your skills and magic.", Irene said with a smile, "I think you should work hard and surprise him with how strong you become."

"You think so?", Millianna asked with sparkling eyes.

"Of course, and he said he would take us to the fancy steakhouse in the capital.", Irene informed them, "As in, take us on a date."

"DATE!?", the girls screamed.

Grabbing Lisanna and Sorano, the girls scurried off while the boys sat at the table confused. Not understanding what was going on, they finished their meals and went out to train.
