RUN!!!!!!!

For the past three hours, Drax has been doing everything that he could to find out what abilities or magic he may have inherited from the unbound ghosts. But so far, the only thing that he has found out is that his body will naturally stop before he hits the ground if Drax falls from more than four feet in the air. Of course, he figured this out by jumping off multiple hills, trees, and yes, even cliffs. Unfortunately, once his body stops himself from hitting the ground, it doesn't exactly let him down. So, after hours of floating above the ground, Drax was finally able to master the art of floating.

Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to figure out any more of his ghost powers except for the obvious, so Drax just decided that it was time for a different approach. If he couldn't dig his burrow, then Drax would just have to make some other creatures do it for him instead. So, doing the stupid thing, Drax roamed around the area where his soon-to-be burrow was located while looking for some kind of creature that could dig. And as luck (or bad luck) would have it, Drax finally found what he was looking for. Walking a little ways away from the area where he was going to dig his burrow, Draxes ears twitched as he started to hear the sound of running water.

Curious about what kind of fish this new world has, Drax started walking towards the direction that the sound was coming from. His ears swiveled towards the direction of the water just to make sure that he was going in the right direction. It didn't take long until Drax came across a large flowing river. Running over to the side of the river bank, Drax started to look around curious to see what kind of fish were in the river and momentarily forgetting what I was supposed to be doing, that is until his eyes landed on a large six-foot-wide hole located right beside the river bank. Cautiously walking over to the hole, Drax stopped right beside it before looking inside.

And to no one's surprise (literally, there's no one else around), it was some kind of burrow, and a giant one at that. Multiple paw marks littered the outside of the burrow. On each paw stood five large toes, each one twice the size of my paw. Attached to each toe stood exceedingly long claw marks, each one half a foot in length. Drax eyes widened in fear as I wondered what could have made such imprints.

Backing up from the burrow, Drax started looking around for a well-hidden place to hide. Even if the creature was terrifying, it was the only thing that he had found so far that might be able to help him build a decent burrow, even if the burrow did turn out abnormally large, but the system never said anything about the burrow having to be big or small. Looking around some more, Drax was thankfully able to spot something. Located about ten feet away from the hole was a large bush covered in multiple red thorns. Slipping inside of it, he was once again glad to be made from the mist. (System, how long do I still have left to complete the mission.) Asked Drax.

Well, he still had a full day left so Drax decided that he might as well wait and see if the creature comes out of the whole. After 3 hours of waiting and still no sign of anything going in or out of the hole, Drac was starting to get a little anxious. He's never tried to track any animal before, so he couldn't really tell if anything has been in the hole recently or if it's just empty. Thankfully, the latter was correct. Hearing scratching sounds coming from the hole, Draxes ears instantly stood at attention as his eyesight sharpened.

A large paw easily half the size of Draxes body suddenly shot outside the hole followed by a two-foot thick arm covered with large green scales layering the arm in thick scaly armor. A second paw that was just as massive followed the first one as it too came out of the hole. The paws reached their full length of four feet before they started heading back into the hole. The claws of the monster scrunched up as they scraped across the ground before finding purchase. The arms bent and visibly pulled as a large reptilian head revealed itself.

Hundreds of large serrated, sharp teeth covered the inside of its mouth. The head itself was about the same size as a full-grown wolf. It looked like a mix between an alligator and a snake, it was rounded at the front with two large nostrils standing on top. Large quill-like spikes covered the sides of its neck and made clicking sounds every time the wind blew, making them rub together. On the side of its head was a large red reptilian eye, followed by two smaller ones.

Finally, its body was pulled out of the hole. Drax subconsciously backed up as the full mass of the creature in front of me was revealed. With a length of almost thirty feet, the creature was easily bigger than a large truck. Glimmering green scales covered its back as well as two long rows of quills that dripped green liquid, making any nearby plant shrivel up. Sniffing the air multiple times before turning in Draxes direction, the large reptile sucked in a large amount of air before releasing an earth-shattering roar that sent a large wave of dust and wind at Drax which ended up sending him flying.

Quickly using the skills that he had learned and practiced, Drax turned his body in midair before quickly floating down to the ground. Turning around and immediately running, Drax could hear the sounds of the reptilian's feet thundering behind him along with the sound of multiple crashing trees. (SYSTEM WHAT IS THAT THING!!!!!!!!!!) Drax screamed inside of his mind as he continued running.

[[[Mission details: You have run across the S-ranked monster named Kelo-vile, matching the brute strength of a dragon as well as having the ability to eat the souls of the living, this monster is certainly a formidable enemy. But in return for it's superior strength and ability to eat souls, this Kelo-vile has developed overly sensitive scales and feels much greater pain whenever one of it's scales are ripped off or fall off on their own. However, perhaps the most frightening thing about this monster is its unbroken record of never letting a single one of its prey escape, which means your mission is to be the first. Escape the Kelo-vile and live to tell the tale.]]]
