Chapter 36: Alchemist Test (1)

I slowly made my way to the inn I'm currently staying at. Entering the room I take off my jacket and slammed down in the bed. Popping out of the cube, Fenrir layed down on my chest.

I run my hand through his fur as I went back to what I did to those three scrubs. Again I'm not scared I'm becoming some kind of monster are anything it's just that killing is way too easy.

Everyone I've killed so far it was easy. After my third or fourth kill I began wondering. If there was another way, but I can't take any chances, I can't trust anyone in this world.

I hate it, not being able to trust anymore. Looking down to the wolf currently looking up at me I couldn't help but smile.

"Thanks bud, I guess I can trust you pal." I said as I looked down to him and rubbed his ears.

[Sir?]

"Hey Eva, can we talk, to you too Fen." I say as Fenrir looked into my eyes.

- A month later -

It's a been month since then, I've decided not to hold in so many things I decided I'll trust Fenrir and Eva. Well they're the only people I can trust in this world, plus they're connected to me down to my soul and very existence so yeah that's that.

During this month also I've been learning how to make the pills lower in grade, I don't want seem like a complete monster who can pop out 10 star and 9 star pills on a whim.

I've beeb also doing my own research on the fauna and pillx, to which I had to return home for a while. I don't have enough cash to stay in the inn anymore so I left, plus it's my workshop and I have better equipment there I'm currently designing a better forge so I'll try to steal some red iron. I know where the mines are and it's heavily guarded which isn't a big deal for me. Cuz stealth card!

My research so far has been extremely useful, like holy shit! The fauna in this world is amazing, the one's on earth can't even compare like seriously I found a cure for cancer!

Though it can't be remade with the ingredients on earth since they don't exist there.

Anyway it's currently time for the alchemist test and right now I'm making my towards the place.

As I entered I went to the receptionist "Miss Min, I'm here to sign up for the alchemist test."

Said receptionist bowed "It's good to see you again Ken Hai, sign here and do know if you fail you need to pay 3,000 silver lien." said the receptionist, Ken Hai nodded and signed.

The two have gotten acquainted over the few months, he'd studied here. "Please head this way." she said as she pointed towards a hall.

Ken Hai walked in and soon he saw a large group of lot's of men who looked to be in their early thirties and forties.

As Ken Hai walked in they all looked at him in confusion. "What's a child doing here?!" asked one of the men.

"Do you think it's one of the elders grandsons? What is he wearing?" said another. Ken Hai just bowed and introduced himself "My name is Ken Hai I'm currently here to take the alchemist test."

"What! Take the alchemist test!?" shouted one man he was obviously very easily offended. Though why wouldn't he be, they've been studying, practicing, training all their entire life to be alchemists.

When suddenly Ken Hai a boy not even 18 come in to say he's taking the alchemist test it's no coincidence that all these men are their thirties and forties they've been trying to pass this test for years!

Soon scowls set on all their faces as their killing intent flooded into the hall. Why wouldn't they be mad when some kid barely out of his mothers womb is talking big.

But suddenly *Booom!* a shockwave of martial qi dispelled it and they all looked on in shock. There was an elderly man with pure white hair and long bushy beard it was the same old man who was in the library.

"The alchemists test is about to begin, please enter this room and take seat." The elder pointed towards a door to which they all entered without any trouble.

Taking a seat I was the immediate victim of number of dirty looks, but I ignored them and another elder stepped up and begun speaking.

"Question sheets are currently being handed out, however when the test starts you are not to converse with each other or you'll be disqualified, cheating by an answer sheet is also prohibited if your caught cheating then you'll be permanently banned from ever taking the alchemists test ever again!" Said the man seriously.

Soon all papers were handed and we were given a brush to write with.

"May the test begin!"
