Everything has followed the TV show, Varro has grown close to Spartacus, Ashur has been giving food secretly to Spartacus in the hope of rigging the odds in his favor, Spartacus is sometimes taken by the guards from training only to be returned a couple of hours later causing him to fall behind compared to the other tiro but lucky this has been occurring less often and with his incredible talent he will soon catch up.

A month before the test

In an act to show Spartacus that none of his victories hold merit when faced up by true Gladiator, not those cheap imitations of Solonius, Oenomaus set up a mock battle with Kerza using two newly practiced attack patterns, to the surprise of no one he couldn't handle either of the two attack forms but when Kerza was celebrating his victory something made Spartacus go wild, broke Kerza nose, he was taken away by the guard to be punish.
