Golden rays of the evening sunset gently bathed the back yard of the mansion. I put on my headphones, immersing myself in the music as the refreshing wind caressed my skin. Winter was approaching, and the trees around had already begun shedding their leaves.
My gaze shifted from the falling leaves to the tiny wooden door tucked away in the corner of the yard. It had never been there before, and I approached it cautiously, confirming that it wasn't a figment of my imagination. As I got closer, I realized it was an old yet classic door, made from a rare type of tree. I examined the tightly closed lock that secured the door.
A thought crossed my mind: "The pendant on my bracelet could open it." With a flick of my wrist, I inserted the pendant into the lock, and on the first try, it clicked open. With a surge of strength, I pushed the heavy door, finally revealing what lay beyond.
As I stepped inside, an enchanting sight unfolded before my eyes. I had never seen anything so mesmerizing in my life. I stood in awe, admiring the path before me, paved with the rarest diamonds. Each element in this strange place possessed a unique beauty. The trees seemed to emit a gentle glow, each adorned with its own vibrant color. Although the surroundings appeared dark, the trees illuminated the area, bringing it to life. I looked up and witnessed the most beautiful stars shining above me, their twinkling lights displaying an array of captivating colors.
As I continued along the path, I heard murmurs in the distance. "She should know her kind," a woman's voice whispered, while a more authoritative voice replied, "No, I don't want her to end up like you." The woman's calm voice chimed in, "I understand your concerns, but she will inevitably uncover the truth. It's her destiny, and she will embrace it." Suddenly, the conversation halted abruptly as if they realized my presence."You need to protect her at all costs," the woman broke the silence. " It's not safe,"
I walked futher into the forest and hid trying to see them. The fog was too thick for me to see them clearly. All I could spot was figures. There was bright red glow and soon another person appeared. He looked unwelcome. "Mmmmh! I presume you are referring to the one," he said sending chills through my spine.
"Wherever you hid her I will still find her,"he sounded like thunder making me shiver. I knew then that he was after my life. Looking back I couldn't trace the door. He came at full speed trying to catch me. I ran as fast as I could to escape him.
A blinding beam of light flashed before my eyes, accompanied by a faint voice calling my name. Everything went black, and I lost track of my surroundings.
