"You okay Ava?" my mom asked me
"Yes, mom I am fine," I replied.
I came home this morning to meet my parents. Grace was a little upset that I didn't go shopping with her.
"So, I heard that Liam is here." My dad asked.
My dad and Liam had an amazing relationship back then. They used to love each other. Dad was the first one to know about me and Liam.
"Yeah, he is," I replied
They know my reason to leave Italy and I am just glad that they understood me. Whenever we had a fight mom and dad used to resolve them a few times.
"I also heard that he has become a famous photographer," Mom said cautiously, looking at me.
Mom has seen him growing up like her own child. After Liam's mom left them, he craved his mother's love which he got from my mom.
"Yeah, he has," I answered
"Did you two talk?" dad asked me.
"Yes" I answered and both of them were looking at me with the hope that I will tell them our conversations.
"What? I am not going to tell you what we talked about." I said and disappointment was clear on their faces.
"I wish I could see him."
"Yeah, the night after you went to Italy, he came to see you. And that was the last time we saw him." dad said
Rolling my eyes, I huffed and decided to ignore their torture.
After reaching the resort I saw Aiden walking in the garden.
"Hey," he greeted me as he saw me coming.
"Hello there, groom," I said and he smiled widely, and soon I joined him in walking.
"Where were you?"
"Went to see mom and dad."
"Nice, how are they?"
"Fine"
"So…" he started
"So?" I asked
"What happened? You know you can tell me anything if you want to."
"Nothing, just confused."
"About?"
"My decisions."
"I will tell you something Ava, a person regrets his or her decisions when they are not satisfied by the outcome. But when a person makes any decisions about something when they are sad and angry, they make them based on the current situations and feelings." He explained looking at me with all seriousness.
He held me by my shoulders, and looking in my eyes he continued when I didn't say anything.
"I know that you are somewhere regretting your past decisions because now you are slowly realizing you can never get over him. You, my sister, can never stop loving him. And that's the bitter truth."
