Chapter 31 City

"You have to hurry up." The male nurse urged Zach, who glanced at the trembling man one last time. He confirmed that the man was scared of Crowlie, and then followed behind the male nurse and entered the labyrinth-like floor.

When he walked out of the sanatorium, the middle-aged female nurse at the front door reception handed over the wooden box for storing personal belongings. Zach saw that there was only his own thing inside, and the special necklace had already disappeared, it seemed that someone had taken it.

Zach put his things away and left the sanatorium. Mr. Quest's car had long since disappeared from the parking lot. 

The gravel creaked under the weight of the tires.

Zach did not ask the unexpected guest sitting in the passenger seat where she was going, but returned the same way.
