Chapter 60

"Hi honey. Adam called earlier saying something happened at the house and not to expect any calls for a while. Is everything okay?" Dad sounded worried. I paused remembering I had a brother I never knew about.

"Uhh... yeah. No, everything's fine. I just wanted to tell you about the wedding."

"YES!" I almost dropped my phone because his scream scared the life out of me. "Tell me more!"

"Dad, relax." I rolled my eyes holding the phone a few inches away.

"Okay, sorry. I'm calm now. Please tell me more honey." I could hear him smiling.

"Okay well, we decided on Hawaii three months from now. Adam's letting the council know and calling vendors and I think we need to figure out who to call for the flowers and cake and everything else. Should I look into a wedding planner?" I chewed on my thumb.
