Juzi's knees were trembling. He kept his sanity intact even in the suffocating presence of his master.
Indeed! His master was neither trashing things up nor was he screaming from anger, instead, Heidi— who was back to his original form — remained silent. But like the calm before the storm, Juzi felt the prickling fear gnawing into his bones.
With his back against Juzi, the latter could not see the raging eye of the storm.
"My Liege, should I-I go and save the girl?" Juzi treaded the thin ice carefully, fully knowing what would happen to him should he ignite the wrath of the boiling demon lord before him.
