The voice filled with excitement, fear, and anguish mixed echoed even when the dimensional crack had already closed. For a moment, Sue Terin froze on the spot. She feared that she would be trapped in there again—in that very same room to only wait for her death.
On instinct, Sue Terin caressed her belly.
"System, can my baby survive without the presence of the father now? I am sure I am not feeling lethargic anymore."
Lordie popped out from nowhere. His white furry butt wiggled as his three tails swayed excitedly after meeting Sue Terin again. "Finally! I am out of the space!" He hugged Sue's right arm before he wiggled his way to the top of Sue's head. Patting Sue's forehead, he lamented. "I am so close to getting crazy if I spend one more day with those fools!
