CHAPTER 64: CORONATION
The chamber was filled with robot-looking machines
"These are our Megatron. Only I know about them. Only use them if Arata is attacked by the Shura. Those guys are tricky. I'll show you more tomorrow and I'm going to show you to the people of Arata" Zadkiel said entering the throne room
Zadkiel snapped his fingers and Szayel appeared
"Get my little protege a place to sleep," Zadkiel said
Szayel escorted Jia out and Zadkiel had a fulfilled smile on his face
THE NEXT DAY
Jia woke up to a very loud noise coming from a small device on the table
"Alarms!Not again. Wait, they seem to be technologically advanced" Jia said staring at the device
"The ceremony begins in a few hours. I advise you to hurry up. Lumina will be here soon" The device said
Jia opened the door of what appeared to be the bathroom
As she was taking in the sight, A young Nubis girl with curly brown hair and eyes that were the color of the desert.
She knelt down
"I am Lumina. I'm here to help you get ready" Lumina said shyly looking at the floor
"Lumina, get up," Jia said extending her hand to the girl
Lumina was shaking in fear as she took Jia's hand
"No need to be so tense. It's just me and you here" Jia said smiling at her
"I am supposed to bathe you and dress you up," Lumina said
"You're supposed to bathe me? Who made such obscure rules" Jia said cringing
"Please, I don't want Lord Szayel to punish me" Lumina said
"Oh, so it was Szayel. tch. " Jia said with a sneer
After staring at the variety of products that lined the bathroom and realizing that they were different from what she used to know so she let Lumina do her thing
Lumina was as red as a tomato when she was done
"Lumina, are you new in this place? " Jia asked noticing Lumina's extreme shyness
"Yes," Lumina said
Lumina brought out the clothes she was to wear for the ceremony
It was a military uniform with black and gold stars on the shoulders. The boots were colored black too
The military uniform fit perfectly on Jia's body
Black and gold were Arata's national colours
Lumina styled Jia's hair into two low pigtails. She sort of looked like Harley Quinn
Lumina added a jade pin to Jia's hair
Shortly after, an other girl arrived and dropped the crow,n and left
The crown was magnificent
The crown was gold colored with intricate black designs
Jia took the crown and wore it then she stared at herself in the mirror
"This is more like it" Jia appraised with a smile
"Lumina, I'm hungry. Could you get me some food" Jia asked
" Which type of food, " Lumina asked
"Anything you feel I should eat," Jia said and Lumina left the room
Jia stared at herself in the mirror
"Queen of Arata. Is it Queen or Empress?" Jia muttered this and some incoherent words
For some reason, two scars were across her left eye
"I had this when I was Xue" Jia murmured
"Yeah, Xue has partially integrated with this body" The system replied
It was wearing the same outfit as Jia but it didn't wear a crown
Jia stared at it
"What, we're all going to the coronation," The system said
"Grow up " Jia spat
The system rolled its eyes and started applying makeup
"You're a catfish," Jia said noticing how different it looked after applying makeup
The system stuck out its tongue and disappeared
Jia took a red lipstick and stared at it before putting it down
Lumina returned with a tray of food that had different items from prawns to crabs, Lobsters, Noodles, fruits, Sake(rice wine), and many others
Jia picked the noodles, prawns, and a lobster
She didn't take the Sake because she couldn't get drunk
After enjoying a good meal,She reclined on the sofa and sipped the sake a little
"It is time" She heard the device yell
Zadkiel entered
"Woah You look beautiful. I must say" Zadkiel said with a bright smile
He was wearing a military uniform. His long red hair was slicked back and he had the emperor vibe
"Girl, let's go," Zadkiel said pulling Jia away.
Lumina followed diligently behind
Reaching the stage, A lot of people were present. They cheered and hooted for him. Zadkiel ruled Arata in an absolute monarchy system. He said a very lengthy speech about something Jia wasn't listening to
"People of Arata. I've been around for a very long time so it's time for me to go to Waja.
Zara my son cannot rule this great empire so I present to you my successor; Azrael" Zadkiel said before pausing
Jia had already told him to keep her real name a secret and just call her Azrael
"But esteemed sir, She's not even a Nubis or related to the royal bloodline" The chief advisor countered
