"Do you really not despise me?"

Claudia Ross felt a pang of emotion.

After all, she had been married before and had a child; for a man of Mark Reed's status, finding someone better than her would have been as easy as flipping one's hand.

But he had been persistent about her.

"Don't talk nonsense, how could I possibly despise you." Mark Reed bowed his head and kissed Claudia Ross's supple hair gently, "I want to marry you and take you home, I've waited too long."

Even though Mark Reed's affection was sincere, Claudia Ross still dared not be optimistic.

"Your family..." He didn't despise her, but that didn't mean his family wouldn't.

"I'll take you home in a few days."

"So soon?" She was not yet emotionally prepared.

"It's not soon. I've been waiting for this day for five years."

Mark laughed and flicked Claudia Ross's forehead, "You've always been afraid of my family finding out about your identity, right? Just come home with me with this new identity of yours."
