Chapter 8

Rachel looks at her classmate with fright in her eyes. "Erica may be bad-tempered, and always messing around, but she is also my father's daughter. So she will have a share on the family inheritance..."

"Girl, I really pity you." one of the students said to her. "Let me help you teach her a lesson."

"don't be too serious about this, Erica is very aggressive, and she can be really mean, and when she hits me it's really painful.." Saying this makes Erica's reputation is in the edge, and adding a pitiful face. Then everyone will be on Rachel's side. She gives a cruel smile while looking in the area where Erica is standing.

"She even hits you?" As expected, the girls beside her are in range once they hear it. "No wonder your face seemed off and swollen when you come to the class today. Don't tell me that was because of her?"

Rachel look at them with a pity look in her eyes, "I don't blame her. Sister Flora, don't be upset." while she said it the girl was looking straight at Erica, it's like a straight arrow that shoots in her eyes.

When Erica felt that someone is looking at her, she looked around the classroom and saw where Rachel was sitting. "Teacher, can I come in?" She asks the teacher again when the teacher here her. "Sit everywhere you wanna sit."

"Erica, over here." Rachel waved at her. When she looks at the classroom, she saw Rachel was waving at her with a bright smile on her face. "How is she related to the prettiest girl in our class?" Ask of one of the student. "Don't you know they are sister! I remember that she is the rebellious one and she always bullying our Class Monitor." After hearing this the student distain there self from her, some of them give her a look of deadly look. She only listen to what are they saying about her, now she look the way to her sit. The moment she reach at her sister side, when Rachel going to say something, she continue walking straight to the empty chair.

Rachel expression went stiff. There was whisper in the class when they saw that Erica didn't sit besides Rachel, even Rachel call her. One of the student said, "My god she didn't even look at her sister, maybe the news of her being rude and snob is true." Everyone got angery to her for what she done. "Alright, quiet class!" Then the class got quite.

"Class, we don't have much time, so lets continue our lesson. And I have an announcement, A month from now our university will have our foundation, the school directors will be attending the performance. The Princepal whats that ever class will have to performe for a show. So Class monitor, you can start collecting names that wants to be with the program that you will be doing."

"Okay, teacher," Rachel respond. Erica don't have any of her textbooks or other things that need so she could only sit at the class. Then the class end, Erica was called by the teacher. Rachel was about to talk to her but she was called by the teacher, she can't come to her fast that why she can only look at her walk away.

"She didn't come to school for a year, maybe the teacher will have her expel or give her a warning."

"Rachel, she been summoned into the office. I wonder what she'll do. It would be a surprise if she was scolded beyond compare. Serves her right from bullying you."

"Don't talk to her like that, she still my sister." Rachel say with worried in her face. "Erica, place explain to me your situation." The teacher said once they arrived in the office.

She looked at her teacher and breath before she spoke. She told her teacher that she was seriously ill and had no choice to stay at home to make her better. And she cant go to the university because of that sickness that she have. But little by little the treatment is showing affect on her, even it take long the important thing is, she become healthier after the medication is done. That why now she came back to shool, because she was cured. The teacher was listening to her the whole time and time to time nodded his head, like he understand what she was saying.

"What is the sickness that your body got?" The teacher ask her. When she heard the question of what the illness being mentioned, Erica's face immediately become paled as she answer, "It's a rear sickness, my family was scared about it. Because it was very scary sickness. It's not like I don't like to tell you about the sickness, but my family really don't want to talk about it." She explain it to her teacher.

Once the teacher saw the changing on her face, and the pity in her eyes. "It's okay as long as you're better now. I will get new textbooks for you, so go back to your class." He said. "Thank you, teacher!" She bow her head and she exit the office, once the office door was close. The pitiful in her face disappeared. Her lips show a smile don't light of her face.

"She's back!" The student said. "Why is she back soon?"

Rachel rush to her and asked her if she is okay or is everything is okay. She look at Rachel and said. "Why won't I be okay?"

"Didn't the teacher called you at his office?" Rachel said with panicked in her face. "No, is there he needed for me to know?" She replied to Rachel. "Oh right, he did tell me something." She said. "The teacher said he will get me a new textbook and I can back to class." She smile saying those, and she look at Rachel face with a devilish look. Rachel don't like the news that she got, so she was controlling her emotion not to bust out. "Oh Erica, you should always join the program, it will help you catch up for the one that you miss." She said to Erica with smile in her face. "Your invating her, can she dance?" one of her friend ask.
