Ch.18 Up to date

Kyū silently went around to the shelves and picked up books and scrolls that layed within them. He was surprised about the expansive amount of knowledge that was from all around the shinobi world.

"Stein how'd you get so much...alot of this isn't even from the leaf village" He said as he read. "Well to be frank master, I widened my outreach to other villages...and had them collect information and make high ranking friends...that's about it sir...nothing extravagant" Stein said with a warm chuckle

"Good work" Kyū smiled and went back to reading silently, he found various sets of info on jinchuriki and where they were. Along with information on each nations anbu force, the scrolls usually contained tree like listings of ranks and names as well as pictures.

{A few hours later}

Kyū was left in the room to collect information, as well as to ready himself for the world around him, that had changed in 25+ years. He had gotten half way done with the room when Tatsumaki entered with food and drinks. "You should rest..and eat something" Tatsumaki said setting the trey she carried onto the table and sat down at on the other side.

Kyū nodded and waddled over to eat, he was happy to see she had changed over the years but he was unsure as to why she changed. "We have a bit of bread and cheese... some fruit, and for drinks we have an odd juice that Frankenstein had created by blending things together" she said causing Kyū to nod as he took some fruit and rested his arms on the table

"So how...has time treated you?" Kyū asked Tatsumaki causing her to think he's calling her old "IM NOT OLD!" she spoke up

"I never said you were old...I meant what have you done or do you feel any different" He'd chuckle listening to her pout. "Well to be honest I don't feel any different from the day you... kidnapped me or whatever, the real question is why don't you look any older...your still a kid" Tatsumaki chuckled

"Cause I won't age Unless I will it..besides my people don't age as fast as normal folk..we can go years without ageing even a tiny bit... intriguing right" He'd say like it was a beauty product that he could sell.

"Never mind that... Frankenstein thinks you should meet with the hokage tomorrow...as a war is brewing" Tatsumaki said "Aswell as joining the academy..but that's up to you"

"Hmm...I just might, though I'm staying up until I finish the rest of the library." Kyū said and ate a few pieces of cheese "One question though?; Why did the house get bigger?"

"Oh that...um frankenstein has made rooms to store weapons...scrolls..and places for other people to stay" Tatsumaki said "He said that you would bring more people...as time went on"

"Well he isn't wrong...but it was definitely unexpected for him to make the house bigger for that" Kyū said and finished eating "I'm going to finish up here...so don't wait to do things with me or whatever" He added

"Of course sir" Tatsumaki nodded and exited the room with the trey and all, she stood in the hall once she closed the door and Kyū went back to reading but she just stood there and mumbled "Why didn't he age...where has he been?".

{2 hours later}

Kyū eventually finished up before it became nightfall, though he looked like a walking corpse at this point and fell asleep across a stack of books he had been reading.

Stein came into the library and took him back to his room so he could sleep in a more civilized place that was comfortable. He knew fairly well kyūseishu would wake up in the middle of the night to go off to do somthing but was unsure exactly what It'd be.

The next morning when Everyone awoke Kyū had already left. He had wandered around the village looking at the new sights, aswell as hashirama's grave. A lot had changed in the time he had skip, but the other worldly like village that he had seen was stuck in the back of his head, causing him to grow even more curious as to what had happened to the village in that world.

Eventually he entered the hokage's tower, Though the guards had changed in that amount of time so he couldn't just waltz into the office and was stopped. "Halt, who are you and what buisness do you have with the hokage?" An anbu had said as they stepped infront of him quickly.

"Your hokage knows me as Kyūseishu..and I'm here for a friendly chat" Kyū said from behind the mask he had bought. "Please remove your mask sir...and we will see if the hokage truely knows you" they commanded causing Kyū to sigh and nod as he did so and waited for the hokage's response.

A few moments later a guard came out and left the door open, only to motion Kyū through. Kyū entered to see a scolding Tobimaru, causing him to blink quickly. "You'd dare take up the name of the missing kid of this village... I should punish you directly, what jutsu are you using.." Tobimaru said holding a kunai towards him(mf gonna use flying thunder god on him).

"No it's actually me Tobimaru sensei" Kyū said trying to calm him down "...wait how do I prove that I'm actually kyūseishu...the kid you found on the battlefield of Madara and Hashirama" He added

Tobimaru thought for a few moments and finally spoke up "Fight me..." He challenged
