The Legend of White Fang 3 (Side-Story)

The battle concluded in less than 10 minutes, with all 4 Jonin-ranked shinobis killed by Sakumo in swift succession. The name "White Fang" was already renowned throughout the Ninja World, but seeing him in action live left even his own team in awe.

The Hatake clan of Konoha was renowned for their prowess in kenjutsu, but the White Fang stood apart from them all. He possessed a rare and forbidden dojutsu of the clan known as the 'White Chakra,' which gave him incredible powers. His signature move, the 'Getsuga Tenshou,' was said to be able to cut through anything, leaving nothing unscathed and regarded as an S-rank ken-ninjutsu. (combination of kenjutsu and ninjutsu)

The team gathered around the corpses of the deceased Kumo Anbu to gather information from them. Some of the details about their identities were also provided by the Konoha Anbu they had met earlier. It took them an hour, but they were finally able to gather all the necessary information.

The team stored the Kumo Anbu's outfit and masks in a storage scroll and resumed their journey. They needed to head towards the northeast to reach the Land of Frost and then travel further to reach their final destination, the Land of Lightning. To prepare for the colder climate in the north, they unpacked some woolen clothes from a storage scroll.

After enduring harsh weather for five days, the team finally arrived at the Land of Lightning. The journey took longer than expected due to the extreme conditions they faced along the way.

The Land of Lightning was a mountainous region with numerous tall peaks. The weather was unpredictable, with thunderstorms occurring frequently. In addition to the mountains, there was also a plateau region.

Upon reaching the Land of Lightning, the four shinobi quickly changed into Kumo's Anbu uniforms and donned their masks.

Sakumo Hatake- Electric Eagle

Kagami Uchiha- Electric Beak

Shibi Aburame- Electric Talon

Shinku Yuhi- Electric Feather

All four shinobi swiftly activated transformation jutsu to adopt their respective identities as they headed toward their destination, the Hidden Cloud Village. After less than three hours of travel, they finally arrived at the village.

At the entrance of Hidden Cloud, their identities were verified with their code names. Unlike Konoha, they don't have clans with the ability to sense intruders through their chakra alone. Therefore, they follow a strict military code that is difficult to infiltrate even through espionage.

Finally, they managed to enter the hidden cloud village. The village is situated on a large mountain range and rocky terrain. The architecture of the village is characterized by its tall, cylindrical buildings, with many of them featuring pointed, triangular roofs.

Sakumo remembered the first task they had to accomplish upon arriving in Hidden Cloud. He recalled finding a scroll from the corpse of the Kumo Anbu leader and believed it to be the one that they got from Hidden Waterfall Village and were supposed to deliver to the Raikage.

He took Uchiha Kanami with him and headed towards the Raikage's building, which stood tall in the center of Hidden Cloud Village, situated atop the highest mountain in the area. They both deduced that the Anbu Headquarters was situated beneath the Raikage's building, inside the same mountain. However, before proceeding to investigate, they decided to visit the Raikage's room first.

As they entered the Kage's room, they were greeted by three individuals. Seated on an oversized chair was a towering, muscular man with dark skin, white spiky hair, and a thick beard. He exuded an intimidating presence that commanded respect. It was the third Raikage, one of the most powerful and revered figures in the Hidden Cloud Village.

Standing next to him was a shorter man with spiky, dark hair that was mostly hidden under a unique forehead protector shaped like a hat. This was Dodai, a skilled shinobi known for his dexterity and quick reflexes.

Beside Dodai stood a tall and imposing figure, a muscular man with spiky blonde hair that complemented his sharp and confident demeanor. It was A, son of the legendary third Raikage.

Sakumo presented the scroll to the Raikage, who took it with a nod. Dodai stepped forward and unsealed the scroll, causing a small poof sound. Suddenly, a pile of gold appeared beside them, glinting in the light. Both Dodai and the Third Raikage seemed content with the payment, their expressions softening slightly.

Third Raikage cast a curious glance at Sakumo's torn clothes and inquired, "Did something happen on your way here?" to which Sakumo responded with a wry smile, "Just some rogue nin who popped up unexpectedly. But we took care of them eventually, though they put up quite a fight."(The dress was torn by getsuga tenshou which split the leader in two)

However, while they were conversing, Kanami kept glancing around the room and looking at the other people present. This caught Dodai's attention, and he couldn't help but think to himself, "Does this guy not know that when presenting mission results to the Raikage, one should keep their head down and bow respectfully?" Dodai felt that something was off about Kanami's behavior.

After delivering the report, Sakumo and Kanami left the room. As they walked out, Dodai couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about them. He voiced his suspicions to the Raikage, but was dismissed with a simple explanation that Kanami was a new member. A nodded in agreement with his father, but couldn't help but feel a nagging sense of doubt, wondering if Dodai might be onto something.

As the four shinobi met again, Sakumo voiced his concerns about the heavily guarded Raikage's building. Shinko suggested that they gather more information about the Hidden Cloud village first so that they could plan an easier escape once the mission was complete. Sakumo agreed and instructed the team to gather as much intel as possible within 24 hours from both civilians and fellow shinobi.

Kumo had designated lodging houses for their Anbu members, where each member had their own assigned room. In the evening, the four of them reconvened to share the information they had gathered. During their discussion, Shibi revealed something intriguing: in a week's time, the Raikage was going to address the village, and most of the shinobi and Anbu would be deployed either within the village or on its outskirts. This meant that the Anbu HQ would be less guarded than usual. After considering this information, Sakumo agreed that they would wait until the address to steal the data files.

However, five days later, something unfortunate occurred,

Uchiha Kanami was on his way to deliver some important documents to the Anbu HQ when he accidentally collided with A, the son of the third Raikage, causing his documents to scatter on the ground. A quickly helped him to collect the fallen papers and Kanami thanked him for his assistance. As Kanami turned to leave, A asked him, "What is your Anbu codename?" Kanami responded with "Electric Beak." A muttered to himself, "Is that so?"

'A' gathered chakra in his right hand and infused it with lightning as he leaped toward Kanami. Despite Kanami's skills as a shinobi, he felt A's killing intent even without looking back, prompting him to jump away. However, A's speed was too great, and he still managed to strike Kanami's leg.

"Lightning Release: Three Finger Assault"

The force of A's attack was so powerful that it ripped Kanami's leg from his body. As he looked at the injured Kanami, he said, "Your disguise was impressive, but you should know better than to reveal your codename to anyone other than the Raikage, gate guards, and your team captain." A pause for a moment before continuing, "Now, tell me. Who are you really?"

"Uaaaaaah…AAAhhhhhhhh..AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

However, the only sound that pierced the air was Kanami's anguished scream as he clutched the bloody stump where his leg used to be. The excruciating pain was too much for him to bear, and tears streamed down his face as he writhed in agony.
