Hijoshi looked at the scene before him with immense terror, and disbelief. A child, a child had fully changed form into a multi-appendaged monster of some sort, and completely prevented any of his attempts at escape, or fighting back.
The regular color of the world had long shifted, and only red remained. Deep rivers of blood coursed through the ground beneath. Blood leaked from where the demon should have eyes, but emptiness glared back at him as one spear pierced through his abdomen.
Hijoshi was lifted into the air, and forced to look directly at the monster. Hijoshi had never wet himself during battle in all 30 of his years serving Onoki, but his pants were soaked, his pride discarded. The maw of the beat ripped open revealing dripping saliva, and rows, upon rows of sharp teeth that just threatened to mince through his body.
A second spear appendage pierced through his chest before they began to tug in opposite directions.
"AGHH AHHH AHHHH AHAGAHHAGHA."
Blood, guts, and all manners of other viscera spilled fourth from the man who was getting a prime treatment of being separated from his lower half via spears.
A wet sqelsh rang through the area, and with a final rip his lower half fell, discarded down upon the ground. The laughter of the monster kept Hijoshi from completely fading away, the noise too loud, too grating, too irritating, and horrifying.
Hijoshi had never experienced anything like this in the entirety of his life, he had been tortured, stabbed, beaten, nearly killed numerous times. But he had never become a monsters playing, or ripped in half from the stomach down.
Hijoshi couldn't comprehend how he hadn't died, or at the very least passed out by this point. All hope of surviving had been tossed out, and now he lay there just waiting to die. Time crawled by, and Hijoshi had lost all track of reality. Years passed while he slowly bled out, and watched the monster lick up every last drop.
Death is all he had prayed for by now.
Haruko looked down on the poor soul who had been his first victim of tsukiyomi. He had a high degree of control within the genjutsu, and thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with a power he wanted in the future.
To take on the form of that monstrosity is still pretty far away from him, not to mention the amount of practice he'd need just to control that many limbs at once. Using biomass to just create a few additional hands was difficult enough for now.
While Hijoshi lay in a puddle of his own drool, Haruko had already wiped out the rest of the camp, ending the battle with a triumphant shout of joy. Kakashi had long since dispersed to remove all the roaming genins.
Haruko knew the battle was over from the moment this idiot decided to lock eyes with him. Granted, there's no way Hijoshi could have known he was an uchiha in all but name. After being ragdolled by the man they met eyes, and that was all he needed to capture the man.
A small sliver of pity ran through Haruko as he looked down upon the man. Tears were streaming down his face, and his hands attempted to scoop something back inside his stomach. Deciding to end the charade, Haruko plunged a blade through the man's chest, and thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of absorbing the man. Knowledge burned through his skull as he took everything in.
Kekki Touta is what it was called, not kekki genkai, how could I make that mistake? Regardless, that will be an extremely helpful set of tools. Hell at this point I think I could take down Danzo by myself. This guy had a decent amount of chakra, but he was on the lower end. His abilities could have shone so much brighter if only he had a larger pool of chakra the poor sap.
Good for Haruko, and his ever growing chakra pool though. He will be able to truly use these abilities to the fullest. Even more so considering the 21 fresh kills he had just committed.
'Now with all this fresh biomass, which unlike dead bodies gives the maximum benefit there's one thing I want more than anything else. In the games Mercer, and Heler could glide through the air, however I don't live in a massive cityscape, and that's not the most useful thing. But you know what would be? Wings! They couldn't do it, but who says I can't?'
Haruko sat down cross-legged, and focused all his energy, and will inside. Given both his intent, and "currency" He directed absolutely everything towards one thought, and one thought only. A fully functional set of wings.
Kakashi had returned just in time to view Haruko's body being wrapped in some sort of black cocoon, the biomass slowly wrapped around his body, crept up, and formed effectively an egg.
'This kid! Seriously? Right here? Anything could attack him while he's like that!'
Kakashi shook his head in disappointment while taking guard over his stupid, and vulnerable pupil. Surveying the area revealed traces of the battle, but Kakashi had already known there would be no dead bodies.
Exactly as he predicted only broken tents, tables, and other objects were left. No blood remained, no trace of there once being living people here all of a few moments ago.
While Haruko enjoyed his impromptu evolution his mind had sunk into a deep dream, or perhaps a nightmare?
"Look who decided to finally use his gifts?
Once again Haruko was trapped in this nightmare space. It was different this time, he wasn't a puddle of biomass before evil him's feet. Haruko took in his surroundings, before giving his doppleganger a once over. While it was identical to him, there was a difference in how it felt, and considering how long he had just been observing that was when he realized that this is just a dream. As was the nightmare from years ago.
There is no evil Haruko, just a subconscious personification of his anxiety, depression, and fear. This Haruko was a hollow representation of unconscious thoughts. Haruko approached, and the figure opposite him faded into nothingness, and his surroundings shifted once more. He was at peace floating on cloud nine.
In reality the biomass egg had finished hardening, and out of curiosity Kakashi poked at it, and scratched along its surface with a kunai.
' Completely solid, I'd need to hit it with a full powered chidori to pierce it, and get to Haruko. At least he's not as vulnerable as I thought he would be.'
Kakashi set up camp within the remains of the enemy camp, and prepared for a long night. He could easily assume without Iwa receiving correspondence from this camp they would send somebody to investigate. While he didn't fear the enemy, he did fear them targeting the egg instead of him.
