"Huh?" Shuri said as she looked up and followed the direction where the shout came from.
"Baraqiel?" she yelled out loud, quickly recognizing who the 12 winged fallen angel in the air was, who slowly descended down her way.
'Oh! Didn't expect to meet him here ' Jin Mused, Also recognizing who the man was, as the current vice governor general of the fallen angels as well as the current husband and father of Shuri Himejima and Akeno Himejima.
"I'm so glad that you're okay." Baraqiel said as he slowly landed in front of Shuri.
"Did you get hurt anywhere?" he then went on to ask her worriedly
"No, I'm okay." Shuri replied
"Are you sure?" He questioned with doubt.
"Yeah, and it's all thanks to Jin."
"Jin?"
"Yeah, let me introduce you to him." Shuri said as she turned around and grabbed Jin
"Jin, this is my husband baraqiel. Baraqiel this is Jin" She then went on to introduce both of them to each other.
"Jin was the one who saved me." Shuri explained to Baraqiel, who in the end just looked at her with disbelief.
"Umm, Shuri, you're joking with me right?" he asked.
"And why would I do that?" Shuri replied
"He's just a kid." Baraqiel went on to say as he stared weirdly at Jin
"Trust me. I was also as shocked and surprised as you were but I promise that I'm telling the truth. He was the one who saved me and killed all the enemies." She said, deciding to leave out the part of having been killed and then resurrected. Not wanting to worry him anymore than he already was
"Really?" Baraqiel still asked with doubt
"Yeah." Jin was the one who went on to answer him as he stood right in front of him.
"Nice to finally meet you, vice governor general of the fallen angels, Baraqiel."
"So you know who I am?" Baraqiel asked
"Yup"
"Then it seems that you're not a normal kid."
"I guess you could say that. But hey, who here is normal?" Jin answered nonchalant
"Good point."
"Well then if what Shuri said to me is true then I must truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping her safe"
"There's no need to thank me. Shuri has cared and done so much for me. This is the least I could do for her. But anyway, should we really still be here just chatting"
"Hmm, what do you mean?" Baraqiel went on to ask
"Well, don't we still need to go and find Akeno?"
"Oh! That's right." Shuri jumped up and yelled in realization
"What! She's not with you guys?" Baraqiel yelled out and asked them both worriedly.
"Well, I had to teleport her randomly somewhere far away to keep her safe. But now I don't know where she is." Shuri answered him
"Then we have to hurry up and find her." Baraqiel said as he got ready to take flight before being quickly interrupted by jin
"Don't worry I've already located her location."
"Really?" both parents turned to him and asked expectantly.
"Yeah, she didn't go too far. I'll hurry up and go get her."Jin replied
"Then I'll trust that you'll bring her back safely to us Jin." Shuri said sincerely to him
"Yeah" Baraqiel also voiced out in agreement.
"Ok, then I'll be back in a bit." Jin replied as he turned around and quickly left towards the direction where he sensed Akeno at.
______
"Mom!" Akeno yelled out as she suddenly appeared in the middle of the woods through a shining magic circle.
"huh?" she said dumbfounded as, before she knew it, she quickly fell face first down onto the ground
"What! where am I?" she said anxiously as she quickly got back up and began looking around. Noticing the unfamiliar surroundings.
"Mom?" She then cried out as she began frantically looking around. Only to get no response
"No, it can't be. I need to hurry up and get back." she said in between tears as she started running randomly in a random direction. Hoping it will lead her back home.
However after a while of continuous running she quickly got tired and stumbled, and before she knew it, quickly fell face first onto the ground again.
"I, I need to get back " she said desperately as she began crawling on the ground.
However, before she could continue any further, a shining red magic circle suddenly appeared right in front of her.
And the next second, two figures slowly appeared out of the circle.
A middle aged man dressed up in a butler outfit and next to him, a little girl with bright long crimson red hair.
"She's the one miss." the man spoke to the little girl besides him
"I see." the girl nodded in approval as she slowly began walking closer towards the desperate Akeno
"Hello there." she said as she leaned over and faced her
"W-who are you?" Akeno asked, completely startled.
"My name is Rias Gremory " the girl answered
"Did you also come here to kill me?" Akeno asked as she looked at Rias with wary eyes.
"On the contrary. I came here to invite you to join my household and become my servant."
"What?" Akeno asked, genuinely confused at what she just said to her.
"I am giving you a chance of a new life. Become my servant and be reincarnated as a devil. Do so and you would be granted with great power as well as be under my complete protection." Rias went on and explained
"And why do you think I would believe that?" Akeno questioned her
"I don't, but tell me, do you have any other options as of right now? Where will you live? How will you eat? How would you possibly be able to live on your own?" Rias answered and retorted
"I umm..."
"You don't know , do you. So what I am presenting to you right now is a great opportunity. One that would grant you food and shelter as well as a loving home. So tell me, will you accept?" Rias interrupted her and went on to ask.
"I..." Akeno thought over it and hesitated to answer but before she could go on, she was quickly interrupted by a familiar voice.
"That won't be necessary."
""Huh?"" Akeno and Rias voiced out in unison as they both proceeded to look towards the direction the voice came from.
"Jin!" Akeno yelled out in excitement as she quickly caught sight of Jin, slowly walking towards them.
"And who are you?" Rias questioned
"Didn't you hear who I am from her already?" Jin responded as he got closer.
"Then why are you here?"
"I came here to pick her up" Jin answered as he pointed towards Akeno.
"I don't allow it" Rias directly refused
"You don't allow it? who ever said I needed your permission?" Jin retorted as he reached out and lifted up Akeno off from the ground.
"Jin...I" Akeno muttered embarrassedly
"Stop! Do you plan on interfering with the actions of the house of Gremory?" Rias yelled out angrily."
"So what if I am?" Jin answered and looked at her coldly, as the ground below his feet slowly began to freeze.
"You..." Rias was about to retort before she was quickly interrupted
"Young miss, I think it'll be better for us if we retreated."
"What! why?." Rias turned around and asked the middle aged man angrily.
"I am afraid to say that it wouldn't be good for us if we fought with this boy."
"And why is that ?" Rias questioned him
"because neither of us would be his match." he bluntly said.
"Huh!" Rias looked at him dumbfounded. Unable to believe what he just said. However seeing the serious look on his face she had no choice but to believe in him.
So in the end she chose to relent
"Humph, You lucked out this time. The next time we meet I won't let you off so easily. For now, I will take my leave." she said as a magic circle suddenly appeared below her and the middle aged man, quickly teleporting them away. Leaving alone only Jin and Akeno.
______
"Jin, my mother. She-she" Akeno, who was still being carried in Jin's arms, wanted to explain but was quickly interrupted
"I know but don't worry she's safe."
"Really!" Akeno quickly reacted and asked expectantly.
"Yeah, she's with your father right now." he calmly explained to her
"She's with dad! So he really didn't abandon us?" she cried out and asked
"And why would you think that? I can tell you right now that your father loves you both very much and would never even think of abandoning you two.You really should have seen the worried look on his face when he found out you weren't with us." Jin said and explained to her
"Really?" Akeno asked
"Yeah, so let's hurry up and get you back home so as not to worry him or your mother any longer." he replied and told her
"Umu" Akeno nodded in agreement. As they both then made their way back home.
