Found Out

Gon was furious. He didn't get what Korra was saying. She insulted and slandered his group in front of his face. Gon headed back to his room when he saw Asami. "Gon come quick! Roshi and I were walking on the street when we saw some Triad members kidnapping a girl. We stepped in and defeated them, but that was outside another one of their bases. This one has more members!" Asami said. "Asami," Gon said scarily. "Where's Roshi?!" Gon looked at her worried for his friend. "Roshi said I should go and get you. He's holding them off!". With that, Gon ran straight to the alley Asami left Roshi in and saw Roshi's body covered in blood.

Asami checked him, and he had a few broken ribs, along with a fractured jaw and sprained ankle. But Roshi's injuries were nothing in comparison to the bodies of Triad members. Gon counted the bodies that Roshi had dropped, and there were 54 in total. Gon was overflowing with rage. He followed a blood trail into a building and saw the Triad member and the girl he was kidnapping. "Asami. Leave!" Gon said in a calm, but menacing way.

"No! I won't let you do this alone!" Asami said.

"I said fucking leave!" Gon shouted.

Asami was trembling. Gon went up to the Triad member, and the temperature in the room rose exponentially. Then, the temperature dropped majorly. Gon gave him an icy cold stare as if he was looking right into his soul. Gon said "Kneel!" and the man did so pressured by Gon's aura. Gon kicked his in the ribs, then delivered an accurate, powerful blow to the chin. Gon the twisted the man's ankles.

"I'm giving you the same injuries you gave my friend!" Gon said.

He was walking away with the girl when a woman came in. It was Korra. "Unhand that girl NOW," Korra said. The girl tried to tell Korra that Gon saved her, but Korra didn't listen. Korra shot a ball of water at him, but he dodged. Gon tried to get close up, but Korra didn't let him. She put a ring of fire around her. Korra shot an air slice in Gon's way. Gon dodged it and blocked her next attack with an ice shield. Korra shot a barrage of fireballs, followed by a wave of water, then a boulder. Gon used the water to put out the fire and dodged the boulder. Because the collision of fire and water caused a smokescreen, Gon used that opportunity to get close to Korra and shoot ice at her to bind her. Korra melted the ice and launched a barrage of razor-sharp ice discs sped up with air. Gon chi blocked her, but could only get one of the points. Korra only had one arm now because the other one was chi blocked. She desperately lunged at him but missed. She went into the Avatar State and sent multiple air slices at Gon. He dodged all of them, but one. That one slice cut open his mask and Korra saw his true identity.

"Gon?!" Korra shouted. "This isn't true. Tell me this isn't true!"

"Look at her. Look at the girl. I saved her from the Triad members!"

"You're lying to me"

"He's not!" The girl said. "This man was trying to kidnap me, then he saved me. He and his friends helped me, but one couldn't one of them protected me all on his own. He might be dead because of me and I'm lost now. I don't know where my mommy is and I don't know how to repay these nice people,"

Korra dropped to her knees and felt a tear roll down her face. "Gon. I'm sorry. You're breaking the law. I can't ignore this just because you're my friend. Lin is already on her way,"

Gon combined his water and fire to create a smokescreen, but Lin arrived on time. She used seismic sense and tracked him down, but Gon melted her metal. Gon flooded the floor with water, then escaped. He searched for Asami, then remembered that Roshi was still outside the Triad base. By the time Gon went there, Roshi's body was gone.
