Hearing this, Cedric could not say anything else. After all, everything was according to what André wanted. If he was satisfied with something, even if Cedric thought that it was a pity or tragic, he would follow his wishes.
“What are your plans now?”
André shrugged.
“Nothing— nothing new at least until I get rid of this miasma,” he answered, but Cedric was confused.
“Why wait? It’s not like she would know the dark energy is coming from you,” Cedric said.
Months ago when he and André visited Evely at Hampton Hills, Cedric tried releasing his divine energy to see if she would react. If she did, it meant that her celestial blood was awake, and she could feel the energy in the air.
She didn’t. Aside from her uncanny strength, she was totally normal. She was so human-like that it was even strange. After all, both her parents were deities, making her a pure celestial. What more? Her real father was one of the strongest gods, and her grandfather was the king of heaven.
