Chapter 97 - The Promised Yesterday

I was aroused from my sleep as the warmth of someone enveloped me as I awoke. For some reason, my brain had already warmed-up the moment of my awakening. Was it because I slept early perhaps? Regardless, someone was clinging to me.

Understanding the situation, I slowly opened my eyes. And just like I thought, I found a familiar face as her extremely long white hair spreads all over the place. This girl was sleeping on top of me, her face buried into my chest. And to my surprise was, she was wearing a negligee?!

"—?! Luna..." I twitched in surprise, but such faint movement made me accidentally woke Luna up. Moaning, Luna raised her head towards me and slowly opened her eyes. Upon seeing me finally awaken, Luna gave me a fuzzy smile.

"Good morning, Master." Luna greeted.

"Good morning, Luna."

Such adorableness made me caress Luna's head in response. Receiving my affection, Luna stared at me in silence as she meekly takes it. Shortly after, Luna slowly rose her body and pinned my arms, staring at me with visible intention.

And just like I thought, Luna closed her eyes and put her lips into my mouth. Despite just waking up, Luna was pretty passionate about it. This also made me feel hot as Luna sucked my mouth dry, slurping like there's no tomorrow.

"Nh, calm down, Luna..." I mumbled.

"Don't worry," Luna assured. "It still pretty early so we still have time to have plenty of fun..."

She was right. When I looked through the windows, the outside was still dark. Heck, the sun still hasn't risen yet. Grasping the point, I pulled Luna and changed place with her, pinning her instead.

"Kya~" Luna moaned, looking at me in anticipation. This time I will be the one on the offensive. Such is my playstyle after all.

"I love you, Master." Luna heartily said.

"I love you too, Luna."

Over two hours had passed since we started. I felt like all the stress and pressure in both my body and mind had been relieved completely. I was in delight.

Luna was beside me, clinging into my arms, and is using it as a pillow. We were both taking a rest, currently naked since we've been at it since early of the morning. The sun had also risen on the horizon. Just a few more hours and it's the girls time to wake-up. Hm, now that I think about it...

"Luna, since when did you came into my room?" I asked. Did the girls say anything about this? Wait, did they even know it in the first place?

"Um, sorry." Luna apologized. "I actually just sneaked into Master's room..."

Oh, really? But she is wearing a negligee... Is it normal for them to wear such dress while they're together? Or she only wore it after coming here? At any rate, I'm not going to ask her further any question.

"I see..." I replied, wandering into my thoughts. But then, as soon as I stare blindly into the ceiling, a form of someone was seen into my peripheral vision. "What the—?!"

"Uwah—?!" I was startled, and so, is Luna. At the bottom of the bed stood a figure of a girl, staring at us with her glowing red eyes that firmly resembles blood moon. Goddamn, if it wasn't for that visible hint and I would've lunge at her on the spot.

"You scared us, Akari." I pointed out, leaving a sigh. "Since when did you came here? You should've had called us before you enter..."

"I'm sorry Aruji-sama. It looks like I woke-up pretty early so I decided to come and sleep with you." Akari explained. "Also, I'm worried..."

Was it because of yesterday? Well, it was on me since I made a pretty reckless decision and made them worry... At any rate, I was naked right now, so...

"It's alright, Akari." I replied, then rose my body and sat into the bed. "Can you wait for a second? I'll just put on my clothes..."

But just as I was to put on my clothes, Akari without further notice, kneel in front of me and gave me a heartful hug. I was surprised. My Excalibur is stabbing her after all.

"Akari?! What are you— do you even know what—"

"Excuse my rudeness, but please don't take me for a fool, Aruji-sama." Akari whispered into my ear. It made me shivered a bit. "I might act a bit spoiled and childish but I'm no innocent."

"Wha—?! You..." I was left speechless into her sudden assertion. I shot a look at Luna to gesture some help, but Luna just gave me a smile. Sadly, I don't know what she means.

"Want me to help?" Luna teased. "Fufu, it can't be helped."

Fully exposed, Luna crawled beside me, then rest her head into my shoulder, watching Akari. Ugh, I was feeling nervous from the fight, but my Excalibur is raging for another battle. Is this what I think it is?!

"Alright," At my word, Akari opened her mouth. But before that, I firmly held her head and gave her a word of notice. "Don't bite."

"Very suspicious..."

Another few hours have passed, the time for us to take breakfast. Though, we had already taken our fill with the group since they had waken-up earlier. It's currently weekend, so all of us were laying on the living room while waiting for Lemuen to arrive. Just like I promised, I plan on opening the Bag once everyone is present.

The girls were having their girls talk. Fully occupied, I was laying on the sofa, using Luna's lap as a pillow. While on the bottom has my feet rested pleasantly on Akari's lap. Despite all the hardships, I was living rather a heavenly life.

Anyways, it seems like the girls were having quite the argument. Not on the extreme but just your mild teenage dispute. I might look like I'm minding my own business but I'm actually listening to their conversations. As for their topic, it's...quite unpleasant. For me that is.

"Those suspicious reactions, desperate denial, your complexion... Gunununu!" Lily who was sitting on the other side along with Seia, is interrogating Luna about the matter earlier. It seems like they broke some code that they've created on themselves regarding their rules.

Well, if I'm to be honest, Luna and Akari sucked at lying. It was pretty surprising for Akari but those two got flustered the moment Lily and Seia took a notice of their complexion.

"Man, you were rocking in the morning, aren't you? Sai." Of course, there are exceptions. Astra was just chilling on a single seater sofa, stroking the Mini-Dryad's head, laughing at the situation. Truly an Astra moment. "Did it feel good? Both of you."

"Y-You're not helping, Astra..." Seia retorted, looking at Astra in dismay.

"Hm? What is there to help about?" Astra frankly replied. "If you're both jealous, you two can just join them tonight. I'm sure Sai will prefer it more that way."

"A-Astra—?!" Luna, Lily, and Seia became flustered, looking as red as a tomato with their mouth fully agape. Akari on the other hand, remained silent, visibly rattled.

What about me, you say? Haha, no comment. It's just that, I was probably in a dangerous situation. You see, Astra's remark made me instinctively imagined it, and goodness, it seems like it awakened my Excalibur. Ah! Someone save me—

Knock! Knock! With the day in favor with me, I was in for a relief when someone came knocking on the door. Embarrassed, the Green-haired girl entered the room timidly.

"E-Excuse me..." Lemuen timidly greeted.

"Ah! Good morning, Lemuen." I greeted, followed by the girls simultaneously. "About time. Since we're here and all, how about we start right away?"

With unanimous agreement, each of us went and sat properly on the sofa. I took the Monster Bag inside my Pouch then placed it on the table. The three bag was made out of a blue reptile skin, such is the skin of the Mighty Serpent, Vaconawa.

"You're kidding. It's really real..." Astra had been set to awe upon seeing the evidence of my fight against the Serpent. The same can be said with the rest of the group. "I can't believe it..."

"Haha, if you all only have seen it..." said Lemuen, straining a smile. "He made fighting the Serpent like a child's play."

"Aw," Lily frowned. "If only we were there to see it..."

"You're right," Seia replied. "If possible, I also wanted to fight it in the future."

"Haha, that's the neat part: you can." I informed.

"Really?!" Seia shouted in delight.

"Yep." I nodded. "But never mind that, let's open these three bad boys. I was in for a hell just so I can get you three. You better give me something worthy of my risks."

With everyone eagerly watching me, I began to open the First Bag. Like before, the bag vanished, magically transported into my pouch so I took the loot out and placed them into the table.

"Woah!" The girls shouted in unison.

The First Bag was contained by three items, and an essential item at that. The first was a sword type weapon called 『Serpent's Edge』—a Panay Tenegre Sword with a sea green colored blade similar to 『Kusanagi』. Upon striking an enemy, will inflict ⟨⟨Slow⟩⟩ debuff, as well as summoning a bolt of lightning to the enemy.

"Another absurd weapon..." Lily exclaimed. "I promise I won't be surprised anymore..."

"Y-Yeah..." Astra nodded, fully focused into the sword. "Amazing..."

The next item is a tool called the 『Endless Water Bucket』. Yes, it's just like how the name says, it contains an endless amount of water no matter how many things you poured into it. In the future, I was planning on making my own territory so it might prove later in use.

Lastly for the 1st Bag is an 『Ability Scroll』. It was a surprise for me, I never knew such item existed in the game. Neither is any Mod I know so far. Anyways, the item contains a skill called ⟨⟨Aerial Blast⟩⟩. This is...

"You're probably thinking right." Lily interjected into my thoughts. "It's the skill Jett uses against me in the Tournament."

"I see." I placed the 『Ability Scroll』 for later. Next, I finally opened the Second Bag. Just like the first, the bag also had contained three items. Lucky!

"This is...Ah, I see."

The First item of the Second Bag is a Rogue Weapon called 『Serpent's Scale』. It is a non-consumable dagger made from a sharp sea green scale. It is used via green ring that summons the weapon when used. My first Rogue Weapon.

The next item was sadly, another duplicate of the 『Serpent's Edge』. No, majority of us here uses a Melee Sword so I don't think it's unfortunate. I guess I'll either give it to Luna or Astra later.

Oh? The last one was a great weapon. This time it was a Gun called 『Leviathan』. Its appearance is of a stretched Serpent's head with a muzzle on its mouth and is turned into a Gun. Oh, it's also the first time we got a Gun with a bullet conversion. This gun turns bullets into a spray of high-pressure water. Hm, should I give it to Seia, I wonder? It will make her unstoppable if that is.

"Alright, the last one." I shouted, then gave it to Akari. "But this time, you open it, Akari."

"Me?" Akari paused briefly before realizing my intentions. "Ah, understood."

With a nod, Akari opened the last Monster Bag. Quite the lucky feat, but once again, the Bag contains another three items. Akari doesn't have any 『Magic Pouch』 on her so this time, instead of the item being transported into the inventory, it instead just falls into the table.

"What?!" Lemuen shouted, apparently shocked. The rest with the exception of me and Akari also had their face in utter surprise. "Isn't that?!"

A heart-shaped pendant stood before them. An item of accessory that was introduced during the Tournament. The item that's one of my reasons of joining the Tournament.

"That's right." I replied. "The item held as a reward in this Tournament—the 『Valiant Heart』."
