Chapter 58 - Akari and Future Endeavor

(8:00PM - Helianthus Villa)

I was at my room lying in bed—pondering about my next course of action. The moments were very placid combined with a dim light coming from the open lamp beside my bed which enables me to think properly. It was when someone came a knock on the door returning me to earth. I supposed it's the girls—every night, they often came here to include me to their games or something they're having fun with.

Without any ounce of thought, I slowly get out of my bed and opened the door for my visitor. When I took a peek, I saw Akari in the front door alone wearing a black sleepwear and is squirming anxiously as if she wanted to say something.

"Come inside." I said, opening the door for her.

"Yes..." Akari responded timidly then walk her way and sat into the bed.

I followed after and sat beside her. "Is something bothering you, Akari?"

"Um..." Akari paused and keeps squirming, she looks tense as her sweat drop down her cheeks. "A-about before... You remember when I said I was hungry right...?"

Oh, is it something about that? Let's hear it then. When we came back, Akari has been looking uneasy since then. I don't know what's happening in her—even with my knowledge in the game, I don't remember something like this which left us nothing to do with her.

"Of course, if you have something you want. Just say it." I firmly declared, at least to reassure her.

"T-thank you Aruji-sama..." Akari paused, organizing her next words. "Um... you know I'm a vampire right...?"

"Of course, Is someone bullying you?" I asked, changing my demeanor.

"I-It's not that... The thing is," Akari paused again, hesitating but kept her composure and continue. "We vampires need blood to get our nutrients... I've been feeling sick since I haven't got anything since then—which leaves me in this state..."

So that's how it is... I finally get it, and I probably know the reason why she asked me alone. She—

"Aruji-sama..." Akari looks at me with upturned eyes. "C-can you give me your blood...?"

No wonder she hesitates to tell me—Well, there's really no problem for me though. Moreover, it's my responsibility as my companion to give her what she needs—of course, this situation is no different.

"You should have told me since earlier." I patted Akari's head. "You're my companion, it's my responsibility to take care of you."

Finally learned about my feelings, Akari let out a grateful smile. "I'm really glad you became my Master."

After a confirmed consent, Akari strips herself naked with the exception of her bra and laid on top of me—wrapping her arms towards my body. Akari then shot me a dazzling look with her blood moon eyes before she starts to open her mouth exposing a pair of fangs and—

"Guh—!!"

Akari bit me to my neck and start sucking my blood. Ouch...! I didn't think it would hurt this much—since I felt like I can tolerate it by just the feeling of intimacy towards Akari. I can even feel my blood being sucked which kind of left me a bit dizzy at the moment.

After a while and I'm starting to get used to the pain. Sadly, the dizziness is still there so I guess It still need some time for my body to slowly adapt to it.

"Fuwah...!" Akari who was finally fill removes her fangs on my neck—licking her lips. "Thank you for the food..."

"N-no problem—" Suddenly, the dizziness starts to attack which left me a few seconds before I lose consciousness. "Sorry Akari, looks like this is my limit now... talk to you tomorrow..."

"Yes..." I heard Akari's last words before I completely lose consciousness. "Goodnight Aruji-sama..."

"...Sai"

Waking up from my sleep, I'm hearing a faint voice that's calling me. I would like to respond to it, but both my mind and body were tired for some reason—and is saying to not to bother.

"Master...!"

Oh! It must be Luna I'm hearing... But I wonder why they're calling me though. We should have no classes today so why they're trying to wake me up...

Hm? Setting their calls aside; I'm currently hugging something very warm that feels like I'm in heaven—which is also the reason why both my mind and my body is unwilling on waking me up.

"Mhm..." I moaned, seemingly in a state of pleasant feeling. "Please don't bother me..."

After a while and the pestering call stops there. They've probably given up on waking me. But well... I said some harsh word so now the guilty is now the one disturbing me in my sleep.

I slowly opened my eyes to see the repercussions I caused when I unintentionally blurted out harsh word. Hm... My eyes were still blurry, but I can see some— Geh...!!

"Ah," Lily who saw me opened my eyes shifts her attention to me. "You're finally awake."

My eyes have started to clear so I finally can see them. Sigh... Looks like they still don't know...

Lily was sitting on the bed while Luna and Seia are standing. The three of them we're wearing their uniform who apparently still didn't know that there would be no class today.

"Yeah..." I lifted my body up into my bed, scratching my head. "Mind telling me why did you woke me up?"

After I ask those question, the girls widened their eyes and froze in their position—their face flushed in red. Hm? Now that I'd think about it....

"In any case, where's Akari?"

After a brief moment, the three finally went back to earth and regain their composure. The one who answered my question is Lily by pointing beside my bed. The redness on her cheeks hasn't disappeared yet though.

I was left baffled by her gesture that I raised one of my eyebrows. I then looked at the direction where Lily is pointing at. And to my surprise...

Akari is sleeping beside me naked. No, more than that... Why am I also naked?!

"N-no, It's a misunderstanding! I didn't know anything about it!" I anxiously shouted.

"Figures." Seia responded wryly. "When we woke-up, Akari was missing so we checked if she's here with yours." Seia added a question. "Also, Sai—Your neck, where did you get that?"

She must be pertaining to my bite marks from Akari. Well, there's no reason to hide it from them so I explained the circumstances about Akari and the reason why I have this.

At the end of my explanation, the trio we're showing a complicated expression. Well, I already know the reason but setting that aside...

"I forgot to mention this to the three of you but, just so you know that we will be having no classes today." I mentioned while stroking Akari's head while she's sleeping. I didn't intend to, but I find her very adorable right now.

Their complicated expression had turned into a surprise instantly. """Eh?!"""

"So, you didn't know huh..." I sighted. "For now, after you've change—shall we eat our breakfast?"

While the three of us were taking our breakfast, Rina-san who was reading newspapers in today's news we're making a convinced expression.

"You're right..." Rina-san acknowledged. "There would be no classes today."

"Didn't I tell you." I replied.

"Yeah, but how did you know it?" Lily intercept, asking me a question. "You seem you know this already."

"Well, about that—"

I explained to the members the reason of class suspension today was because of world altering caused by the 『Chaos Mode』 last day. Since their curiosity had risen to my information, I also given them about what would be the changes in this world will surface.

That is—two new major biomes besides the White Tundra and Ebonland will surface in this world.

The first is a sky island called 『Aerial Enclave』. When the 『Chaos Mode』 began, an isolated part of an island where the remains of the old city is located was suddenly floats towards the sky—hovering beyond the clouds—circling around the globe.

The place where the 『Aerial Enclave』 takes place causes a large crater so wide it creates a new geographical unit. No one knows when it started but beneath the 『Aerial Enclave』 before it was risen, there exist a biome that looks like you we're in outer space. That place—or a biome is called 『Superficial Cosmos』, or the community called it 『The Cosmos』.

As much as I wanted to explain the full details regarding these two biomes. I decided that it would be better to explain it when we get there. It would be boring if I spoiled them the place before we even get to them.

"That's how it is" I explained, ending the discussion.

As expected, all of them was left cliffhanging from my detailed explanation. I feel bad to them, but I want them to fully experience the unknown environment and let them enjoy it little by little.

"Mhm...." Lily pursed her lips. "Stingy..."

Seia was also sulking—pouting as her eyes were in the corner. The same can be also said with Luna. Although, she's hiding it very well, I can still see a faint of disappointment in her expression.

For some reason, Rina-san is also making a disappointed face. Albeit very faintly—that you can almost missed it, I can see it by the movements of her figure. As for Akari, she looks fairly happy. Perhaps she already anticipated that we will be going there sooner or later.

I let out a laugh. "Don't worry everyone, after we finished our business in the 『Jungle』, we'll take our next destination to 『The Cosmos』."

"Really?!"

"Woah!"

As soon as I said that—the girls mood brightens as their eyes sparkled relate to their excitement. For some reason, Rina-san made a complicated expression as if she's waiting for her turn... Ah, so that's how it is.

"Rina-san," I called, beaming a teasing smile. "Do you want to come with us?"

"I..." Rina-san who saw my intention didn't continue her words. Her face show that she wants to but due to my teasing, she doesn't want to admit as it will turn as her loss.

"I'm kidding Rina-san," I conceded. "You don't have to say anything."

"Y-yeah...…"

The dining room was filled with cheerful noises. Perhaps thy were pump to their next expedition that they can't help but talk to it to each other. To be honest, we've been laid-back since then even though the 『Chaos Mode』 had already started. As for our next course of action, everything is already prepared so...

"Everyone," I called, silencing everyone. "Prepare yourselves, because we'll start our expedition tomorrow."

Everyone's demeanor changes into a serious expression, visibly tensed. You don't need to be so nervous though...

Jokes aside, the preparations we're all done. Before we went into the Dungeon with Seia and Akari, I asked Luna and Lily to plant all the flowers I bought at the backyard. Looks like it's already in a harvest state thanks to the fertilizer I crafted so we're good from the potions. The girls already passed the requirements and skills so that's already done.

The 『Jungle』 that we're venturing into is located in the western part of the continent. It boasts the largest rainforest in the world which also includes the 『Jungle』 in it.

In the game, 『Jungle』 is one of the challenging biomes in the game. Even at the start, many players will find it very hard to venture into. Especially now that the 『Chaos Mode』 has started that that place is now drastically harder than before. That's why it took time until the preparations are needed.

It's finally time for us to finally maximize our HP.
