DEATH NUMBER INFINITE

As Asha grappled with the enigma of Leach's hostility, his voice deepened, laced with a hint of his newfound power. "Do you seek death?" he demanded, his gaze unwavering, his stance authoritative.

But Leach, his expression unchanged, remained resolute, ignoring Asha's words. "Forgive me," the giant intoned, his scythe rising once more, "The master has commanded that I test your capabilities."

Asha, realizing the source of Leach's obedience, could only think of one name: Hades.

As the realization of Hades' involvement in Leach's actions dawned upon Asha, his mind raced to find a way out of this predicament. The threat of the massive scythe, its blade now readied for another strike, loomed large in his vision.

With no time to waste, Asha sprang into action, his body instinctively dodging the incoming attack. The scythe missed its mark by a hair's breadth, its momentum carrying it past Asha's prone form.

Leach's unrelenting assault continued, each swing of the scythe more deadly than the last. Asha, attempting to evade the blows with his newfound skills, found himself woefully outmatched by the giant's power.

In the blink of an eye, the scythe transformed into a spear, its blade elongating and re-aligning itself for a precise strike. Asha, caught off-guard by the sudden change, attempted to flee from the impending doom, but it was too late. The spear pierced his neck from the back with brutal efficiency, ending his life in a single, lethal thrust.

[YOU HAVE DIED]

[1 DEATH COUNT ADDED]

With a jarring jolt, Asha found himself whole once more, the damage inflicted by the spear a distant memory. Yet, the brief respite was short-lived, as Leach's weapon swung again with unbridled ferocity, slicing Asha's body cleanly in half.

For a moment, the young master stared in horror as the upper half of his body hovered, suspended in the air, separate from his legs.

The dismembered half, though no longer attached, remained animated, twitching and writhing with a macabre display of life. Asha's mind reeled, struggling to comprehend this surreal and gruesome scene.

But before his thoughts could fully process the horror, Asha's body began to regenerate, his lower half growing anew from the now-severed stump of his torso. painful, yet instantaneous process left him whole once more, though now completely exposed from the waist down as his torn and bloodied clothing lay in tatters.

With each passing moment, Leach's onslaught showed no sign of abating, his words adding to the sense of unease that hung in the air like a thick fog.

"Impressive," the giant uttered, the syllables dripping with an ominous tone. Asha, still reeling from the brutal onslaught, could only wonder at the true meaning of Leach's remark. Was it a reference to his incredible ability to heal, or a twisted comment on his exposed body?

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Asha snapped, his words punctuated by the clang of metal on skin as he parried Leach's relentless strikes.

The giant's response was equally cutting, his words sharpened with a cold detachment. "Lord Hades has ordered me to guide you in your experience," he explained, his voice a low, rumbling growl.

Asha, though infuriated by Leach's attacks, couldn't help but recognize the opportunity presented by this test.

As Asha fought for his life, a realization dawned upon him. While the Asha from the novel would have let his hatred consume him in this situation, the new Asha was different. With his heightened sense of agency, he saw this ordeal as a chance to push himself, to explore the limits of his newly gained skills and grow stronger.
