Chunin

Rin after going through the dairy, looked at me surprised. She then spoke "This is so detailed. Even the diagrams are full of detail. I didn't have a clue that our bodies had all these parts". She then started asking me some doubts to which I answered and even made sure that she understands by using basic language. Hearing my answers, even Tsunade was Impressed. Finally she asked "Ryu, would you teach me all these?" I nodded and said "Sure anything for you Rin". Tsunade also smiled and Rin said "It's getting late. I'll see you later." Tsunade nodded and said "Take care Rin. Don't forget to visit us when you have time. Ryu why don't you walk her home?"

I nodded and got up saying "Sure, I was about to do that anyway. It's not wise to let a girl walk home alone at night". Tsunade smiled and thought 'He's got a sly tongue like his father, alas he's his son as well'. Then we left the house and I walked along with Ron to her house. On the way, Rin asked "Which team do you think you will be Ryu?" I answered "I will not be in any team Rin. My mother told the Hokage that she will be herself alone like uncle Jiraya trained Minato. I just have to do some D and C rank missions as the minimum criteria to participate in the chunin exams."

Hearing me, she said "Oh, it's like that." I then continued "Tomorrow you, Kakashi and Obito will be on a team. And Minato will be your Sensei. Actually the Hokage was contemplating between me and Kakashi as to whom he should place under Minato, but Minato reduced to take me as his pupil and so my mother said she'll be my Sensei and solved the problem." Rin hurriedly asked "Why did Minato sensei refuse to take in someone as talented as you as a student?" I told her with awkward smile scratching my head "Actually, I have trained with Minato previously and helped him in perfecting some jutsus. Also I was doing better in the jutsu he created and I'm almost as strong as him. So he said there's nothing he could teach me and refused to accept me as a student and he said he sees me as an equal".

Rin opened her eyes wide and asked "You are already as strong as a jonin? And you are younger than me". I nodded and said "Don't tell anyone. Actually my chakra reserves are around Mid Kage level and my strength is at low jonin level in Taijutsu. And in Ninjutsu I'm mid jonin level. And yes. I'm five years old". Rin closed her mouth with her hand and said "Oh My God, you are just five? Four years younger than me?" I nodded and we continued walking in silence. As we reached her house she said "Bye Ryu. See you later". I nodded and also said "Bye Rin. It was fun hanging out with you. Come to me anytime you want to learn medical jutsus and have any doubts on any kind of jutsus. I know a lot of ninjutsu as well". She smiled and nodded. Then I turned back and returned home.

The next morning, teams were formed at the Academy graduates. As I said, Team Minato was formed with Kakashi, Obito and Rin. I was the only one on team Tsunade with Tsunade as my teacher. After forming teams, we left the academy and I went back home with my mother. She explained to me all the stuffs about teamwork and all and also told me how missions work. I then made my way to the Hokage's office. As I knocked the door, Hiruzen let me in and asked "What brings you here Ryu?" I said "Give me as much missions as you can". Hiruzen laughed and said "Haha Ryu, you are alone. You can only do so much and basically the d rank missions....."I interrupted him saying "Uncle Hiruzen, I already know that the D rank missions are for teamwork building skills. But I must pass the minimum criteria for taking part in the chunin exams and also seeing so many papers on your table, I think so many missions are pending. So give me as many as you can and I'll will complete them".

Hiruzen Nodded and passed me twenty D rank missions. As soon as I got them, I thanked him and ran out. After getting out, I created 20 Shadow clones and gave each of them a mission paper and they all went to do the missions. Like that three months passed and I completed 1000missions. I also helped Minato in training flying thunder god, Rasengan and also Rasenshuriken. Minato was shocked seeing the Rasenshuriken I created out of his jutsu and that was the reasony he didn't accept me as his student. And now it was time for the chunin exams. Tsunade forced Hiruzen to accept me taking part the chunin exams alone without a team. And like always, even without a team, I was the top in the chunin exams becoming the youngest chunin in leaf village. Only me and Kakashi became chunin this time. Rin and Obito did not make it and they would take a team alternative later.

After I became a chunin, I started hanging out with team Minato most of the time training with them. Another six months passed and I heard that Uchiha Itachi was born. I was six years old by now. After becoming a chunin, I only did missions with team Minato as my mother would only let me out of the village if accompanied by a team. Like that another year passed and finally Rin and Obito become chunin. I invited Rin again to my house to celebrate her becoming chunin and she accepted without a thought. Like that after teaching her medical jutsus and hanging out with their team, Rin became closer to me. Kakashi became my best friend and Obito started becoming dejected as he had to compete with two geniuses now instead of one.
