CHAPTER 5: THE HERO OF THE DUNGEON

Seiki and his party start their journey downward into the dungeon. Upon entering, they sensed a strange aura, but their party leader, Ark, reassured them to continue as his defense could easily handle any enemies in a middle-tier dungeon.( Ark is clad in a bulky red armor and wields a long sword and a large shield.) While walking, Ark inquires about Seiki's skills. Seiki reveals that he specializes in magic, which puts his companion at ease for they are lacking magic caster in their party. Silvia then questions Seiki about his elemental affinity and the names of his commonly used skills. Seiki replies that his element is wind and he usually uses the skills "gust" and basic magic. Ark came up with a strategy and informed Seiki that he could utilize magic to stop enemies approaching them. This would give Silvia the opportunity to enhance Alfred's ability for better attack. Silvia mentioned her ability to use anti-debuff and healing spells. Seiki then inquires about her ability to counter poison. She responds with a smile and a nod, explaining that her anti-debuff skill includes neutralizing any negative effects, including poison damage. Silvia abruptly adds, "Even though she is not as strong as her brother, she can still manage to make at least a small impact towards his party members," as Seiki starts cooking some ideas in his mind. Later on, Seiki reassures Silvia, saying that he is not scared to confront any monster in the dungeon because their party has a skilled healer. He emphasizes that her impact to the party is more significant than she ever imagine. After some time, Seiki inquired about her brother's power. Alfred quickly scolded Seiki, exposing that Silvia's brother, Efrim the "high priest," led the second division. Ark questioned Seiki on why he didn't know about Silvia's brother's status. Seiki explained that he was brought to this place by his family as he didn't have a promising future in the Luminous kingdom. Silvia intervenes in the argument and mentions that her brother has the power of healing multiple people simultaneously through his divine skill. ( A divine skill is an advanced high tier skill that is extremely difficult to master and can only be activated by individuals who are skilled and talented.) She further adds that her brother Efrim possesses the ability of instant regeneration. There are speculations suggesting that he can even evade death. Silvia holds his brother in high respect and admires him just as much as Ark does to Arthos, their guild leader. After a while, they eventually encounter a group of goblins, and after dispatching the enemy with ease, they are startled to discover that one of the goblins is holding a baby. In order to rescue the baby, they must pursue the goblin, but they quickly become ensnared in the goblin's trap. They plummet to the depths of the dungeon when the ground beneath them gives way, and afterwards they are being attack by a group of high goblins. They are able to fight back because Ark is keeping a defensive spell called "vanguard" while holding the front lines. Silvia then used the spell "ability enhancer" on Alfred, and then he use his unique skill, "slithering slash," he chopped all the high goblin's head on a single strike. Out of nowhere, they sense a foreboding presence and hostile intentions heading their way. Soon after, they spot a goblin king, the boss of the dungeon, wielding a massive club encased in golden armor. They can easily outmatch the goblin king in terms of physical strength, but it gets a little complicated because they are trapped and surrounded by high goblins. Seiki then utilizes his unique skill "gust" and "wind slash" simultaneously. This leads to the creation of a strong wind that can cause lethal injuries to his opponent, and it also can cause blindness to their enemies in short amount of time. They are shock to learn that Seiki is simultaneously casting two spells. Then, Seiki pretends that he's panting excessively and he's about to pass out. He then explains to them that doing a double cast spell cost him a great amount of mana, in order for him to avoid any suspicions. Seiki instantly takes a sip of the mana potion that Silvia throws at him. The Goblin King cast a spell called "hypnosis" that causes Ark to become drowsy. Silvia then cast an anti-debuff spell, but neither of them realized it was a trap. After Silvia used the anti-debuff spell, she was cursed with the "curse of Avenis," which triggers in their vicinity and silence any enemies who used an anti-debuff spell for five minutes. Ark was on the verge of falling asleep, to the point where he is almost under the influence of hypnosis. Then Silvia is attacked by a swarm of goblins who are slowly stripping her as she faints. Alfred was attempting to run towards Silvia when he is stop by the high goblins. After using his unique skill "limit breaker" he dashes towards the enemies and cuts them in order for him to reach Silvia, afterwards Alfred fell asleep due to the skill hypnosis. Seiki then releases a strong aura enhanced by a massive amount of "reiki" that causes his enemies and allies to faint. The goblin king tries to hit Seiki with lightning, but he quickly nullifies it. When the goblin king tries to escape, Seiki uses Lionel's ultimate skill, "godspeed," to stop its movement. Seiki swiftly moves in front of the goblin king and delivers a powerful punch that crushes its head. Afterwards Seiki obliterates the entire goblin army. He finds Silvia naked, he gaze at her stunning figure and he gently tries touch her big breast, but abruptly, for an inexplicable reason, he stop. He then carries Silvia outside of the dungeon. In order to lessen suspicions, Seiki chooses to injure himself on his way out. And he approaches the miner outside the dungeon slowly while calling out for help. Afterwards, Blue Raven (guild) sends the backup. The following morning, they were all summoned to the guild and asked about the outcome of their dungeon assignment. Ark then accepts responsibility right away since he greatly underestimates his opponents, which leads them to a trap. However, they all acknowledge that they are also at fault. Arthos then stop them to ask as to how they had defeated their opponents. Their captain tells them that Seiki protected them yesterday on their dungeon quest, and he expresses his gratitude to Seiki for saving their lives. He then ask Seiki to tell them the whole story what transpired after the three of them passed out while battling the herd of goblins. Seiki told them that his family has a reputation for summoning forth tamable beast. And he succeeded yesterday in calling forth a massive serpent known as "bachi". However, doing so costs an enormous amount of mana, which is why Seiki decided to keep it as his final Trump card and not to reveal it to anyone else. Silvia blushes as she watches Seiki speaking. When their eyes meet, Silvia expresses gratitude to Seiki for rescuing her. She hugs Seiki afterwards, leading to a moment of awkwardness between them. (Seiki is trying to figure out why he didn't commit his lustful plan towards Silvia. His conscience wouldn't have cared normally, but for some reason, he hesitated.) Silvia inquires Seiki about his intentions to join the Heroes Academy. Seiki expresses his desire to enroll but mentions his uncertainty about the application process. Silvia promises to help Seiki with his application to the academy.
