Spending Time in General Manor

a soft cough interrupted this harmonious scene as all of them turned their head to look at General He standing there, looking at both, Lin You Yue and He Moran, with longing and somewhat cold gaze towards his stingy grandson.

Lin You Yue was embarrassed as she forget about her grandfather then she let go of her brother before walking towards her grandfather.

He Moran was feeling awkward as he stood at the side, watching his old man.

When she reached in front of her grandfather, she looked up at her grandfather before taking off her veil and smiled gently as flowers were blooming in spring.

When rest of the people saw the smile on her beautiful face, they felt refresh and calm.

"Grandfather" she softly called.

Her voice was gentle as feather and melodious as honey.

When General He heard her calling him 'grandfather' he choked as hot tears started rolling down his cheeks.

He sighed and gently patted her on head before saying " Good that you have returned....A..Alive and safe. Good"

Lin You Yue felt warmth as she replied in a spoiled manner "how can I not return? Yue'er missed you all....Grandfather He, Grandmother, Uncle, Aunt , Cousin brother and all the big sisters and brothers. I missed you all...Did you all not missed me?" as she faked her sadness and lowered her head in grief.

Everyone panicked when they saw her grief and sadness whereas, Jun Wu and Jun Zi's lips twitched and in the shadow Jun Ren and Jun Rui sighed helplessly.

'there young miss acting is getting better day-by-day' they thought.

General He panicked and immediately replied " how can this be! We all missed you and didn't forget about you. Everyday we prayed for your return. Now don't be sad OK."

He Moran further added " Yes little sis, we all missed you and prayed for you. You know this old man bought gifts for you on your every birthday whereas, he didn't bought anything for me.~sigh~ this is pure discrimination. "

"You stingy brat. These past years, have I treated you poorly? if no then why are you complaining. humph I think I should make your training more difficult. " shouted General He.

He Moran panicked and immediately replied" no.... no.. grandfather doesn't treat me poorly. He treat me the best."

" humph..." General He ignored him.

He Moran looked at her pleading eyes.

Lin You Yue lips twitched as she sighed helplessly before changing the topic.

" Grandfather, where is grandmother? " she asked her old man

General He softly sighed and told her " Your Grandmother is at the temple with your Aunt located at the back mountain. After you went missing, they both decided to stay there and pray for you. "

Lin You Yue nodded in understanding before replying " then I'll go and meet them before coming back with them"

General He nodded and said " OK, come back fast. You must be hungry, I'll go and order the cooks to make your favorite dishes" before walking out of the hall.

Lin You Yue looked at her brother and asked " Will you be going with me?"

He Moran shook his head before replying "No, I have to go and inform father of your return"

Lin You Yue nodded before she stepped out of the hall and walking towards the temple with Jun Wu and Jun Zi, closely following behind her.

Lin You Yue reached at the front of the temple within few hours by using qinggong with her maidservant.

She entered the main hall and saw two women's kneeling in front of the huge Buddha statue.

She tiptoed and kneeled in between them.

Jun Wu and Jun Zi looked at each other and nodded in understanding before stepping out of the hall and guarding the door.

Lin You Yue then softly stated " For whom you are praying is sitting beside you. You just have to open your eyes and look...." she paused and continued " Grandmother, Aunt. I have returned. "

Her voice was neither low nor loud but it was this voice that startled both the women as they absurdly opened their eyes to look at her.

When they saw her, they froze as they couldn't belive their eyes before sobbing.

" Little Yue'er...." Old Madame said but denied it " no... no she can't be here. It must be hallucination."

Lin You Yue sadly replied " Grandmother, how can you forget Yue'er. Do you not love Yue'er now.....wu wu wu...Aunt, see grandmother doesn't love me. Nobody loves Yue'er. Aunt, do you also not love me?" as she faked sobbing and looked at her Aunt Gu with round watery eyes.

Aunt Gu snapped back to reality and immediately replied " no Yue'er...how can this be possible? we love you very much. Aunt loves you. Grandmother also loves you and we missed you all these years." as she also started crying. she then faced her mother- in-law and said " mother, look our Yue'er has returned. God heard our prayer and finally she came back. look"

Old Madame now realized that this is real and her Yue'er came back. She looked at the girl in front of her, even though she was wearing veil, she can recognize her by her eyes. She then gently pulled her in arms and embraced her tightly as she also started crying.

Lin You Yue accepted her love and pulled her aunt before hugging them both.

She longed for this warmth very much. In her past life, she didn't received this type of love and warmth from her family except from her adopted father. but in this life, she'll cherish every moment and will protect her loved ones.

They remained like this for some moment before they let go of each other.

Lin You Yue then said " Grandmother, Aunt let's head back. I'm hungry. " she pitifully looked at them and blinked her eyes like a adorable puppy.

Both the women were embarrassed as they nodded.

'how can they neglect her hunger?' they thought and noticed that she was looking thin and petite and felt guilty.

' we have to feed her and help her to gain some weight' they thought before looked at each other and suddenly smiled in understanding.

Lin You Yue don't know that these two women, in front of her planned to help her gain weight. If she knew she'll definitely feel helpless.

They then stood up before walking down the mountains, back to the Manor, chatting happily as their laughter filled the mountain.
