Chapter 4 - Powerlevelling the newbie/Running from the last boss

Well, next~ it's power-levelling, isn't it! Power ~ level ~ power ~ level ~ come at me enemies it's power ~ level ~

I hummed a hastily ad-libbed song as I flitted through the expansive corridor I was reincarnated into. Surprisingly for floor 87, there didn't seem to be too many strong enemies-

~GRAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOH~

A bone-chilling howl reverberated through the rocky corridor, causing my back to break out in a cold sweat. An instinctive terror of absolute strength gripped my skull, giving me a headache. A second later, the aftershock of the howl rushed through the corridor, pushing me back over a hundred feet in the air.

Heeeeeh??? I lost HP just from the aftershock of the howl?? What kind of stupid broken chara is this?? Scary, scary, that sounds like a [LAST BOSS] kind of monster, huh. I guess that's why there's no monsters around... this place is too close to that [LAST BOSS]. Mm, mm, turn around and go home, there's no other way...

I turned on a dime after righting myself, then activated all of my [AGI] stat and flew as fast as possible down the dimly lit corridor. Taking a bunch of twists and turns, I ended up flying into a huge, pitch-black chamber when my [Sense Lv.1] started pinging like crazy.

Eh? Eeeeh? What is this??

From my [Sense] skill, I felt at least thirty presences in the vicinity. Yet...these presences felt somewhat familiar...

Ou, ou! Is it because I sensed so many enemies at the same time? And because I identified that these presences feel like that [Citrosian Nymph] I fought earlier?

Upon levelling up, the range of [Sense] become larger, and the murky feel of the presences around me sharpened. I could now accurately pinpoint the position and number of enemies around me within a 25ft radius. Although...

Why are there so many?? Did I fly into a nest or something? Well, whatever, you're all EXP, delicious, delicious EXP~!

Designating a cluster of presences with [Area Cast], I triggered [Spatial Magic].

Instantly, a sharp cracking sound exploded from my right. Attempting to multi-task, I targetted another area in front of me and cast [Spatial Magic] again. It had been over ten minutes since I last fought that lone [Citrosian Nymph], and so my MP was almost full thanks to [MP Auto-Recovery]. Since I was multi-tasking, though, my area designation was a little off, but that satisfying crunching and cracking sound came from in front of me as well. In as little as three seconds, I had finished off almost ten more nymphs.

System-san was working hard too...

In the next minute, I flew around the chamber, avoiding attacks and activating [Spatial Magic], finally managing to kill all the nymphs in the chamber. There were even some level 5 and 6 nymphs in the chamber, which netted me close to 100 EXP for each kill.

Patting myself on the back for expecting something like this, I opened my status window to add stats and check out my skill level ups.

Activating my [Sense] to the highest range I could manage, I started flying through the labyrinth as fast as I possibly could.
