Now finally the last rune. This rune was the most important as without this rune the magic circle cannot be completed and everything would just go to waste.
This rune was also a standard rune but unlike the stability rune this one needed my utmost imagination and control. After a few minutes of relentless trials I was finally able to create this rune.
Unlike the other runes who were there only for my senses and invisible to naked eyes. This rune was glowing in sea blue colour. It looked quite mystical to the point that I stared at the rune for a few minutes.
After that I carefully and precisely placed that rune in the centre of the circle which was left open. This caused a marvelous reaction to appear.
As if the rune shared the glowing blue light to the whole magic circle, all the other five runes which were present in the circle started to glow with blue light as well. There were two glowing blue circles present in the magic circle. One was being a boundary of the whole magic circle while the other was covering the last rune which was in the centre. It was separating the main or the central rune from the other runes who were outside in the circle.
This last rune was the rune of the water element. This rune is also a standard rune but it is also affected by the purity of mana present in you. According to the book I should have at least above 50 Mp to get the minimum results. The stronger my mana stat the stronger my rune creation.
I thoroughly checked the magic circle with naked eyes to check the placements of runes. Runes should be placed clockwise and just how I created them one after the other. If they are not placed like that then the runic equation will be wrong leading to the wrong solution.
After checking that all the runes are placed correctly now it was finally time to put the magic spell to test and to do that I firstly have to give a high mana input until all the runes do their respective task completely. To do that I have to send mana in the glowing blue circle outline or boundary which was keeping the whole magic circle together. They were not just for show, they were magic circuits who know how the spell outcome is wanted by the caster.
"Now, let's get started…." I said while connecting my Mp to the boundary. The boundary will decide how much the Mp is needed.
[- 2 Mp]
I saw my Mp decreasing by two points before my attention went to the magic circle. Steadily a perfect tennis size ball of water was floating above the surface of the magic circle.
'Water shot!!'
I exclaimed while aiming at a rock. This caused the water ball to be thrown towards the rock I was aiming for before….
*BANG!!*
A strong hitting voice was heard. I covered myself to protect myself from the water along with some stones which were thrown as the result of my spell.
When I finally looked towards the rock my eyes widened in shock as well as excitement. The rock was big. Big to the point that I can't even lift it after all it was colossal. There was a huge crater on the surface of the rock where I aimed my water shot. It seems like my spell didn't destroy the rock but created a crater with huge cracks spreading across the whole rock.
I was extremely happy and satisfied with the results but I wanted to try more spells and practice creating the other spells with some runic modification and different elements. I waited for a couple of hours to relax my tense body. It seems like my Intelligence stat has increased my mental strength but I have no reason to push it to its limits.
After a bit more of practicing it was finally time to cook my first food. I was a bit hungry but I wanted to learn magic if I had to cook food because I didn't have any wish to eat raw food.
Now that I finally have enough magic experience to the point that I can try to roast the meat I finally decided to cook some meat. I am going to cook my fish because I think that it will be easier compared to the meat.
I washed up the fish by removing the scales covering the body and removing the insides present in the fish to the point that only the edible part remained. I cut the head off as well and finally casted my spell. I pointed my right palm towards the fish and an orange colour magic circle formed which ignited the fish covering it with flames.
This spell was a fire spell I called ignite. The spell was actually pretty simple because except for the elemental rune at the centre there were only three runes in the circle. One of them was for the temperature, the other was for density while the last one was for the duration or time period I wanted the spell to be running. I didn't use the command rune because it was useless here as I was not aiming at something or wanted the flames to travel a distance. For the same reason there was no need for stability as I want the fire to cover the entirety of the target.
Except for that the fish tasted as expected, bland. I didn't hope for a certain taste because I didn't have any salt or seasoning but this turned out better than I expected. The roasted taste was fighting the blandness pretty strongly. All in all I was satisfied with the results.
I have already prepared some spells to fight against the skeletons. The spells were mostly Fire spells but there were also some Earth spells I prepared for traps.
Now that everything was ready I finally fell into a short sleep to be in my best condition before going in to fight the skeletons.
