"Tch.... the one day I didn't join them and it happens" Kenichi mumbles as he looks at Mjolnir.

Quite a group has gathered and have been trying to pick the hammer but no one has been successful. Hell he even saw Stan Lee trying to use a pick up truck to lift it but it didn't move. Personally Kenichi also wanted to give it a try but right now the most important thing for Kenichi was to find Darcy and the others than take the special camera he had fitted on the roof of their van just so that it can capture the moment of Thor getting tased by Darcy, it's important footage and a good blackmail material against Thor. The god of thunder being electrocuted by a taser will be funny in all the nine realms.

Thor, now in a hospital gown, winces in pain as he awakens on a gurney to find a NURSE standing over him, a syringe in his arm.

" Hi. Just taking a little blood." the nurse said to Thor with a smile on her face trying to ease Thor but Thor SLAPS the syringe away angrily, starts to sit up.

"How dare you attack the son of Odin!" Thor shouted in anger.

" I need some help!" the nurse said when she saw the aggressive behaviour of Thor and Two ORDERLIES race over, try to hold Thor down.

" We're trying to help you!" the nurse said to Thor.

"Then bring me a healing stone, you savages!" Thor said as he hurls one of them off, smashing against a wall. Now a couple security guards and male nurses join the fracas, all struggling to hold Thor down. Medical equipment goes flying furniture overturned.

" What the hell is this guy on?" one of the Orderly asks as Finally, they force him back down onto the gurney. Thor looks shocked and amazed that he's actually being overpowered by this small group. The NURSE injects him with a sedative.

" You're no match for the Mighty--" Thor struggles a beat, then passes out.

The distant mountains glint snow in the early morning light. Selvig appears with a cup of coffee and surveys the vast desert. He turns back into the lab and sees Jane, busy at her workstation, soldering a piece of equipment.

A printer churns out blown-up screen-cap photos of the Bifrost footage. Darcy hangs them on the wall. Selvig surveys the scene, watches how Jane works, impressed. He notices a monitor which displays a complex program entitled "J. FOSTER ALGORITHM ANALYSIS". He looks proud.

The three of them have been up all night, fueled by caffeine and excitement.

"Darcy, when you're done, take the soil samples to Professor Meyers in geology. Remind him, he owes me." Jane stated while looking up from the world she was doing

"We might want to perform a spectral analysis." said Selvig

"We?" Jane questions in surprise as she didn't think that Selvig would join this research

" I flew all the way out here -- might as well make myself useful." Selvig said with a shrug of his shoulders

This is the offer Jane's been waiting for. She gets up, inserts the piece of equipment she's been working on into a rack-mounted server.

" You know what would be really useful? Do you still have that friend at LIGO?" Jane asked

"She was more than a friend." Selvig said

"Could you call in a favor?" Jane asked

"You don't think this was just a magnetic storm?" asked Selvig

"If I'm right, their observatory must have picked up gravitational waves during last night's event." Jane stated

"Meaning?" Selvig asked

Jane heads over to a computer monitor. Selvig follows.

"Meaning these anomalies might signify something bigger." Jane explained

"How "big"� are we talking about?" Selvig asked

Jane indicates the footage on the monitor. As the last of the Bifrost cloud disappears into the night sky, there appears to be a blister in space, bulging out in convex and covered with stars.

"I think the lensing around the edges is characteristic of an Einstein-Rosen Bridge." Jane explained

" A what?" Darcy asked

"I thought you were a science major." Selvig said as this should have been easy to understand for a science major.

" Political Science." Darcy stated

Selvig shoots Jane a confused look. Jane shrugs.

"She was the only applicant." Jane stated as if explaining the reason why she hired Darcy

"An Einstein-Rosen Bridge -- a "theoretical" connection between two different points of space-time." Selvig stated trying to explain Darcy but all he got from her was a blank look

"A wormhole." Jane said in easy words for Darcy to understand

Selvig looks skeptical. Jane prints out a frame-grab off the monitor.

"Erik, look..." Jane said as she showed the print to Selvig

Jane indicates the print-out showing the constellations seen through the "bubble"� in the clouds.

" What do you see here?" Jane asked Selvig

" Stars." Selvig replied

"Yes. But not our stars." Jane said as she spreads out a STAR CHART, barely able to contain her excitement.

This is the star alignment for our quadrant, this time of year. So unless Ursa Minor decided to take the day off... those are someone else's constellations." Jane stated.

Selvig's intrigued, in spite of himself.

Darcy pulls another frame-grab of the Bifrost footage from the printer and hangs it on the wall, when something in the image catches her eye.

"Hey, check it out." Darcy called out to the other two who came forward and examine the photo, amazed. The photo showed Inside the Bifrost funnel cloud is a FIGURE -- the vague, but unmistakable shape of a MAN.

" Is that...?" Selvig mumbled

"I think I left something at the hospital."

"Wow the one day I am not there something big has happened" Kenichi said as he enters the room and looks so the trio inside.

"Kenichi! You are back " Darcy said with a smile and walked towards him to give him a hug which he returned.

"You know there is always a school myth that when you miss a school day something big happens like a celebrity coming to school, or the school going on a trip. I never thought it would happen now" Kenichi said with a sad smile.

"Ha... that's what you get for missing the day' Darcy said adding salt to his wounds.

"Darcy!? Don't take it to heart Kenichi it's not like everything is done and done. We still need to do a lot of work before anything concrete could be found." Jane said

"It's alright Jane I understand anyway don't worry I will keep sponsoring your research until you find something interesting."
