446. Aftermath

"Kenichi stop!" Miu cried out stopping Kenichi from killing Mihai as he finally remembered that there were people watching and he didn't want them to know he wasn't a Katsujinken so he dropped Mihai back on the ground.

Both Ogata and Kushinada had a shocked expression on their faces as they couldn't believe that someone as young as Kenichi could beat Mihai with only a few scratches to show.

"Well it looks like I didn't had to wait as you already are at our level" said Ogata after his shock was subsidies a little.

Kenichi turns to Ogata with a raised eyebrow with his expression saying ''You want to get beaten as well''

"Don't worry I am sure you want to check on your sister so we can do it some other day" Ogata said

"It looks like our plan was unsuccessful" voiced Kushinada at last retreat. Evidently, the Shinpaku Alliance and Ryozanpaku were aware of our plan in the first place, considering they have reinforcements that were ready to rescue the disciples upon danger. It seems they turned our plan to have them become nourishment for our disciples into one that benefits theirs. It is no longer viable to continue."

Not only that, but she could see Chikage beginning to crack under everything.

"Alright, we'll head back," nodded Ogata, giving Mihai a small glare before turning to Ryuto, who was still holding Rimi, "What will you do?"

Ryuto sat there for a second before standing up, still carrying Rimi bridal style to show that he had long recovered from his self-injury and had already regained full control of his Ki network. Although he was also shocked by finding out about Kenichi's strength it still wasn't something he couldn't accept.

"You've made your decision then?" hummed Ogata, quite impressed that Ryuto could stand and reverse the effects of the Ki disruption from the first time he used Seidou Goitsu by himself. Even with Kenichi helping mitigate the effects the first time, it was impressive to recover without any real instructions or help from others.

"No longer will I follow your path, but my own. I thank you for your guidance, but no more. I will walk on my own from here on out," declared Ryuto.

Ogata merely grinned as he let his cloak flare out before turning to leave. If his own disciples wanted to fly with their own wings, who was he to stop them? Perhaps they could ascend past their limits, or they could fall and become cannon fodder for others. Either way, the path of a martial artist was never just a single road.

"Are you just going to let them leave like this?" asked Kushinada, her hands twitching ever so slightly.

"They don't have any information that would be damaging to Yami," replied Ogata, "If they want to go, then let them go. There's no point in holding them back. Rather, we should focus on the damages Mihai did with the kidnapping. If word gets out, it could draw global public attention to Yami, something Yami isn't quite ready yet despite all the preparations that have been made."

Kushinada hmmed in agreement before she disappeared, going to fetch Chikage while ordering all disciples to retreat.

"Looks like I am still far away from even being your match but I will be one day and that day we will fight again" said Berserker, pointing to Kenichi before following Ogata

"Oye! Don't forget to take this bastard even though he is not dead there is no way he could walk by himself, I made sure of that" Kenichi called towards them

"I will inform the weapons division and they will come to pick him up" stated Ogata as he continued to walk away.

"Then don't forget to tell them that they can forget about the scythe as its going back to its original owner" said Kenichi as he broke the string between the scythe and Mihai's while picking up the scythe.

The scythe was also a weapon made by Shigure's father so Kenichi knew she would be happy if he returned it back to her.

Ogata neither stopped nor replied anything but continued to walk away not caring one bit about the scythe.

Back with the other fights, the disciples of Yomi began to retreat, none of them having successfully killed their opponents. Chikage had managed to toss Ukita and Kisara around, but not enough to kill them. Freya swiftly put her staff away as Hayate collected his weapons, turning to leave. Kanase was barely hanging and if not for the retreat order it was clear to her that she would have lost to Saeko, both of the clothes were cut in someplaces but Kanase also had some injuries which Saeko dealt with the back side of her Katana.

Rachel of course couldn't go back as she gain lost to Renka nad had to stay back.

Next Morning

Kenichi returned home to stay with his sister and make sure she was fine but it looked like she wasn't afraid that much thanks to Shigure's training and her faith on her brother.

After making sure that she was perfectly only then did Kenichi leave for school.

While Kenichi was going at school the situation at Yami wasn't good. During the meeting the weapon division wasn't willing to believe that Mihai got beaten by Kenichi and lost his weapon to him and thought it was one of the two fists of unarmed division who did it and were pinning the blme on Ryozanpkau's disciple.

Because Mihai was still unconscious they couldn't know what really happened and since Sigmaringen lost consciousness before Mihai he couldn't help in the situation.

All they could do now was wait for now though they had put Kenichi at the same level of threat as the Master's of Ryozanpkau.

Kenichi looked around, pondering where Shigure had gone. It had been a few days since she had suddenly disappeared. He wanted to surprise her by giving her the scythe that he got from Mihai but since he didn't find her, he has been keeping the scythe with himself.

Suddenly, Shigure appeared before Kenichi with a rather determined gleam in her eyes.

"Time for... weapons training," stated Shigure.

Kenichi nodded his head as he took out the wooden sword when Shigure stopped him and threw something at him.

Kenichi grabbed it from the air, took a Good look at it and was surprised to see it. In Kenichi's hand was clearly a katana sheath about 65 cm long with a beautifully crafted tsuka.

"Is this really for me!?"
