"You are here," Brittany exclaimed. She sighed in relief and was able to let down her guard at last.
"Humans are fun of experimenting. If you had such a rare condition I wonder why they didn't drag you to a lab and dissect you into pieces to find out the cause of your sickness..."
"Don't tell me you are planning to make me a test subject?" Brittany interrupted, her hands hugging her chest tightly.
"I am not that bored, so don't give me that look," Alexander hissed. He swerved and returned to the bed.
As she chatted with him, Brittany lost track of time. When she realised how much time she had spent with Alexander, she blamed herself for getting lost in her acting.
Brittany was a step away from the door when Alexander spoke.
"What about Sarah?" Alexander questioned, his eyes fixed on her back.
Brittany who discovered she had regained her sense of hearing paused in her tracks. She opened her mouth to reply.
