Going on a date

A magnificent boat was prepared for them to tour the lake. The inside was very luxurious and beautiful. Soon it leaves the shore bringing the people within to enjoy the sceneries of the lake.

Yusheng could see the fishes swimming under the clear water. The edges of the lake had beautiful aquatic plants making its beauty peak. There were also other boats small and big floating on the lake on far sides.

Yusheng breathes the air and feels relaxed clutching at the decks. While Pei Jin right behind her in hugging posture enjoying her presence.

"It's so beautiful" whispers Yusheng with awe to herself.

As they entered they could hear the murmurs of discussions, smell of books and inks. Light laughter of females could also be heard from above. At the entry of new people they were given questioning looks.

As they looked noble no one went forward to disrupt their pace. Especially when the male was giving air of stay away so clearly. Together they walked to the bookshelf's checking on the types of books.

Yusheng decided not to enter the lady's section as she guessed it was probably some gathering where poems were recited and paintings were drawn while having tea. Not interesting her a bit, thus having rounded the main hall they decided to take their leave.

They left as quietly as they had come with the same questioning looks of the remaining people. Yusheng felt it was a good place to cultivate the mind of young ones who had yet to enter the real society.

Pei Jin then decided to take her to a famous restaurant named Baozang. It used to be the top restaurant until Xiu snatches the first place. It was one of the many shops under the nings who were the richest merchants in the entire Nanling.

Though their roots were in yunzhou but capital was still their lucky place for earning with so many nobles and and royal's visiting their shops as patrons.

There were several rooms here reserved by the rich nobles or royals everyday to party. Towering 4 storey tall it definetly had the outlook of rich.

Inside a very beautiful desk was placed on the right corner for the desk man. The man was already on his toes with polite smile welcoming them and asking where they would like to sit.

Tao answers for them and chooses the top flour room with a veranda. The desk man eyes glows with the heavy pouch placed on the desk. Learning the party was loaded his posture becomes more humble.

Not even letting normal attendants to come forward but rather he himself shows the way to the room. The hall was very beautiful with many customers eating and chatting. The settings of tables and all the decorations were exquisite.

Each floor was more better than the other screaming rich. Finally they reach the highest floor and the room requested by tao. It was at the end of the corridor separated and secluded from other rooms.

Opening the door they are welcomed by a big room and exquisite tables and cushions. It could hold upto 20 people without any difficulties. Soft carpet on the floor with many beautiful and authentic paintings on the walls.

Flower vases with fresh flowers and light incense burning at the corners giving the room nice and sweet smell. Coal braziers made of copper and gold were placed at the four corners to warm the place. All in all it was a place befitting for royal's to dine.

Pei Jin had been here many times and his gaze didn't held interest Yusheng felt it was good but not more than that. The reaction had the desk man firmly believe that this party was someone with deep roots.

He was a clever man hence managed to be a desk man in this famous restaurant. Even the manager respected his instincts and ability to guide the customers. He very humbly stands until they took their seats and gives them some time to decide on menu and takes his leave after reminding them to strike the jade at the table when ready to place their order.
