Chapter 167 : It's just dinner.

" I'm hungry ", Liam smiled as he picked Jewlica up, " All that floating around must have been tiring ". She nodded as she rested her head on his shoulder, " You get it ". Nectar was helping Mario with his collar, " It's only for a little while ".

He grunted as he pulled at the collar, " Are you sure there's nothing else I can wear "? Nectar nodded, " Yeah, But you look dashing ". He frowned, " I don't care, I feel like a dog on a leash ".

She sighed as she undid the first two buttons, " Better ". He nodded, " Tolerable ". Nectar smiled and kissed his hair. He blushed and touched his head, " Why'd you do that "?

Nectar smiled, standing up " You look so cute every time I do ". He ran off to Fauna and Nectar stretched, " Everyone ready "? They all nodded, speaking in unison, " Are you sure you want to go dressed like that "?

Nectar looked down at the wooly pink turtleneck she was wearing. She matched it with black leather pants and high heel boots. She had on simple butterfly shaped stud earrings on and a silver chain with a matching pendant.

She flipped her hair which was in a lose ponytail and suddenly hugged Liam. She wrapped her hands around his waist and laughed, " Of course, it's just dinner ". Liam sighed as he let her be, " You just enjoy being the center of attention, don't you "?

She rested her head on his chest, " Of course " [ If it'll draw attention away from everyone else ] Nichole stumped her foot angrily, " I'm hungry ". Nectar let go, " Then let's go eat " and left the room with Nicole and Nathaniel, " Me too ". Fauna with Jewlica and August with Tera.

June smirked as she moved behind Liam, " Are you okay Brother Li, your ears are so red ". He coughed slightly, avoiding her gaze " Really "? Mario shook his head and tapped Liam's leg, " I understand. Sister Qidu can be a temptress sometimes ".

June put her hand to her lip curiously, " What is a temptress "? It only made Liam even redder as he carried the girl and took Mario's hand, " I thought you two were hungry "? June giggled as she touched his ear, " They've gotten even redder ".

Pollen smiled satisfactorily as she looked in the mirror. She had on black nylon feeling boots and trousers with a black sweater vest and a white silk long sleeved shirt. " I'm feeling a little peckish, you " ?

Dimitri sighed as he opened the door for her, " Sure you won't change your mind "? Pollen nodded as she braided her hair into a lose ponytail, " Of course. Those dresses are so pretty and I'm a messy eater ".

He nodded and she suddenly held on to his arm, " Don't look so down. Think of all the steaming hot food downstairs ". He flipped her forehead gently, " I never took you for a glutton. How do you manage to stay in shape "?

She shrugged playfully, " There's a difference between love and obsession. I love food so I'm a foodie. If I was obsessed, then I'd be a glutton ". Dimitri laughed, " If you say so " [ I could get used to this ]

Reli leaned against the door frame as she watched Melanie try to figure out what to wear. Reli was sure most of her clothes had been scattered around the room. " When was dressing up so hard "?

Reli smiled thoughtfully, " When you realized it didn't matter ". Melanie pouted angrily as she looked at her, " At least help me find something I can wear ". Reli herself was in a simple dark red silk dress that highlighted her curves nicely.

As always, she was in her favorite pair of boots, the brown ones Nectar gave her. " Don't over think it, wear what you think is best ". Melanie looked around her and nearly ended up in tears, " I dunno what to do ".

Reli sighed as she scratched her head, " Cookie, we need your help ". Cookie popped her head out of the middle room, " I think I found something you can wear ". Both women were more than relieved and quickly moved into action.
