The Gate of Life

When the day ends, Zenith confronted her son about what he was doing with the bath with his childhood friend. Beading with sweat, he tried to come up with excuses like the sponge was too rough so Sylphy somehow cry softly.

Thank god that his Mother didn't pursue in this topic and just accept his excuses.

Zenith, on the other hand, are thinking on how to discipline his naughty son. The last thing that she want is to see another Paul, who always chasing girls.

After that day, when Sylphy and Rudy was playing in the hills, they suddenly saw a group of kids that slightly much older than them. Sylphy recognize those kids and tells him that these are the ones who was throwing the mud.

Rudy however, didn't remember them since these are only side characters and not important to the plot, more like a cliche gang that wants to find trouble.

But the leader of the kids chose to berate Rudy for playing with the demon girl. The other bullies are now sweating profusely because they still remember this kid who has scary red eyes, which are haunting them whenever they sleep.

Before Rudy could act, Sylphy's mana was constantly increasing in a rapid rate, and unleash an intense aura to the bullies, especially the leader. All the kids are collapse through the ground and didn't woke up.

Rudy couldn't believe that Sylphy was capable of using Conqueror Haki, she isn't that kind of strong in the original novel. He breathe deeply to calm himself and decided to teach her how to use Haki properly.

That's when Rudy found out that Sylphy can use the Observation Haki, due to her nature of having an Elven race. Wherein they are sensitive when they are inside the forest. She can't do Armament Haki, which is weird because, if his memory was correct, though it's still weak, she can manipulate touki to protect herself.

The most intriguing was she can't do Conqueror Haki again, the only thing that he can come up is this was a fluke. But since she already done it, maybe with a little training, she can do it again. Only time will tell.

A few days passed by.

He found out that his illusions are strengthen due to the Scarlet Sharingan. Rudy can deliberately make his opponent confused with his five senses, like how Aizen Sousuke's perfect hypnosis, Kyoka Suigetsu.

Using his enhanced illusions, he mask his room and apply an illusion, so if anything happens inside his room, the three adults won't notice anything.

Then he start to cultivate his inner gates and successfully activated the third gate, which is the Gate of Life. Rudy can only describe the feeling of opening the third gate as injecting a steroid.

Though your muscles won't get bulk, but your blood will increase exponentially, turning your skin into red. This blood circulates not only oxygen, but dense mana, making his entire organs basking in dense mana.

This is getting out of hand, because unlike when Sylphy activated her Conqueror Haki, her intense mana was leaking outside her body. But Rudy's body are trying so hard not to let escape any single drop of his dense mana, making all his organs taking heavy load.

To think that Rock Lee could handle up to the fifth gate when he was a genin, he really was a remarkable ninja. Kakashi was right when he scolded Might Guy about teaching Rock Lee this dangerous Taijutsu. Yes, you will become powerful, but the price is your own life.

When he deactivate the third gate, his consciousness suddenly cut off and fell to the floor, making a loud noise. Thankfully no one noticed. He just sleep on the floor while calling it a day.

After that day, Rudy and Sylphy changed there location and go to the nearest river. With fishing rod and basket, the two kids walk in the water and went to the center. They plan to go fishing and the one who catch the most fish is the winner.

Since Rudy also thought to Sylphy everything about mana types, she can also apply her mana at the bottom of the basket, making it sit at the top of the water. Though the winner about this game doesn't matter, the excess fishes are now free and they keep enough fish for there dinner.

The two now separates at each other and went to there respective houses. Sylphy immediately asked her mom to teach her how to cook while offering three fishes. She plans to cook for Rudy since this is also a wife's job. Well, based on her understanding, of course.

Rudy on the other hand was now inside of the gate and saw Lilia, waiting outside.

"Good. You're back, Rudy. I thought that you're going to be late about the family meeting. Master and Madam will tell you good news." Since Lilia's face was smiling warmly, his thoughts was right on the mark.

"Here, Aunt Lilia! Since Dad and Mom might give me good news, please prepare this four fishes as our dinner. I made an effort to catch plump and very tasty fishes." He offers the basket to Lilia and immediately took it.

She pick inside the basket and saw four fishes that has been covered by ice. Rudy used ice magic on both of him and Sylphy's fishes to preserve them.

"Since Rudy made effort to provide us a good food, let me prepare it." Lilia was excited to prepare Rudy's food and let her Master and Madam taste it. She was sure that the two would be glad about Rudy's thoughtfulness.

The two went inside and saw Paul and Zenith, happily chatting.

"Then what if it's a girl?" Zenith asked.

"Then her name will be Norn. How's that, cute right?" Paul suggested.

Then the two suddenly saw Lilia, with basket in her hands and Rudy, with a curious look, approaching.

"Rudy, you will become a brother! Zenith was carrying your sibling!" Paul now said the good news to him and couldn't contain in his chest about his happiness.

Rudy was glad because after eight to nine months, he will see his cute sister, Norn. But after that, he will also see his other cute sister, Aisha.

Today, the dinner was lively and happily devours the fishes that Rudy catches earlier.
