The Other Reason

Today was the first day of little Eve's new school. Contrary to being nervous and unwilling, she showed excitement.

She woke up early in the morning before Amelia came to wake her up. Following that, she brushed her teeth and washed up.

Done with that, her eyes fell on her new uniform hanging up. She got on the couch and reached out for her uniform, managing to pull it down.

She then hurriedly got dressed in her new uniform. It consisted of a red and white plaid skirt matched with a white shirt and red bow. There was a matching plaid jacket that came with it in case the weather got too cold.

Evelyn pulled up her white socks, and there was a red bow on the mirror. Looking at herself in the mirror, she twirled around, finding the uniform to look cute on her.

She cupped her rosy cheeks and wore a wide smile. Her eyes sparkled in glee while she said, "Whoa! Who is the most adorable, baby? Of course, it's Evelyn!"
