Ten Years

When Edgar was ten years old, his grandpa passed away due to suffering from heart attack. Although his condition worsened with age, this took everyone by surprise.

And it only left Edgar with immense sadness and crushing regret.

In the funeral of his grandpa, the usually bright child wore a blank expression on his face. Those hollow eyes of his were void of any emotions, and it brought a sense of chilliness to others.

Although there were some talking about how it was strange for Edgar to not cry, Evelyn knew that deep inside he was the one suffering the most.

Even though Evelyn wasn't aware of the entire story, she knew that before his grandpa passed away, a big fight happened between the old man and his grandson.

Because of how Edgar couldn't reconcile with his grandpa before his death, he felt at loss. He wasn't willing to accept the death of his grandpa.
