Daniel stared at her silently.

When she thought he would argue against her, she held her head high and stared at him unwaveringly and sombrely, showing her seriousness towards her stance.

He nodded.

"Understood. Please guide me well."

She looked at him wide-eyed. His humble manner took her aback. There was no mocking intent, indicating how he clearly meant it.

Finding his reaction to be out of norm, she tilted her head slightly and squinted her eyes prior to asking, "You sure you will listen to me?"

"I know I have made a lot of mistakes and hurt you. My ways, they are filled with flaws, and I sincerely mean it when I say I want to make matters right. Therefore, I am willing to listen to you."

The sincerity in his voice was clearly visible, perplexing her further.

Where was his arrogance and self-righteous attitude?

He wasn't the man to listen to others.

Why was there a sudden change in him?

What did she miss?
