Do Something About It

Evelyn's eyes widened.

Before she could order the boy to stop, he placed his hand on the window sill and leaped down. This made her heart fall down in her chest.

She couldn't react for split of a second due to the shock. After she recovered from that, she shifted to Edgar's seat and looked to see that Edgar landed on the tree branch.

He held on to it securely and smiled at her, waving his hand at her.

Finally, she could let out a breath of relief. Her heart beat in her chest at a normal pace, and her expression turned relaxed before she glared at him in dissatisfaction.

The boy was getting too daring these days.

Evelyn wanted to reprimand him for his reckless action but couldn't do so as the teacher's attention fell on her.

"Evelyn, what's the matter? What are you looking at?" the teacher question, looking away from the board.
