Chapter 97: Relationship

Mum arrived first. Probably about 20 minutes after the phone call. At this time Hui Yun had already changed to hospital clothes and had dilated to 2cm. She was walking around the room when our mother came in. I could only hold her hand as she walked around my wheelchair. Weirdly I couldn't get up. It's probably because I just woke up so my body hasn't recovered yet. 

"Hui Yun, how are you?" Mother asked as she placed all her bits and pieces on the tea table equipped in this room. "I'm in pain," mum she screamed clutching my hand even tighter. "Then do you want to take some painkillers?" she suggested holding onto Hui Yun. "No, if I take in now they will have to add dosage later on. That won't be good for me or my baby," mumbled Hui Yun as she sat back on the bed. 

"Oh hi Wei Wei," uttered Mum as she just saw her. "Hi Aunty," she replied. "Do you not have class in the afternoon?" Mum asked as Wei Wei shook her head. "Well make yourself comfortable," gestured Mother as Wei Wei sat down on the sofa. 

"Hui Yun you need to eat. Or else you won't have enough energy. Labour is quite a long journey," advised Mum as she handed Hui Yun some food. It was stir-fried chicken. Hui Yun did manage to eat some and she drank a lot of sugary drinks. This was so that she had enough energy for later. 

10 minutes later a man I didn't recognise entered the room. I later found out he was Zhao Ru Yi, the father of the child. However, Hui Yun and he weren't married. She became pregnant after a one-night stand. Apparently, I even supported her in keeping the child. 

"Hui Yun, is there anything you want me to do?" Zhao Ru Yi asked as she shook her head but then nodded again. "When I have finally dilated up to 10cm you are going into the labour room with me. Watch the child carefully. Make sure that nothing has gone wrong," ordered Hui Yun. "Here I brought you some stuff," he mumbled bringing a black bag forward. "Oh thanks, but Mum has already prepared the stuff," Hui Yun exclaimed. After that, we all stood there looking very awkward. 

"Miss Hui Qing, how are you feeling?" Ru Yi asked. "Sorry, but I'm not sure if Hui Yun has told you but I recently lost my memory so I don't remember anything that has happened in the past 3 years. What exactly is our relationship?" I explained.

"You see the thing is a few months ago you started a shop called Golden Butterfly. We were discussing the last part of the renovation when you got kidnapped. So we were just business partners at first until well..." he explained whilst looking at Hui Yun.

"I opened a shop?" I asked looking at Wei Wei as she nodded. "You did it. You opened a fashion show just as you wanted to. Because you were in a coma, Uncle Fu and Qi Yan helped you manage the shop. It has already started and I hear the business is quite good. Many people in our social circle love to shop there," mumbled Wei Wei as I smiled happily.

I have always wanted to open a fashion shop since I was young. At first, I wanted to be a teacher but then as I grew up I became more interested in Fashion and Design. That was when I wanted to open a clothing shop. I'm glad that I managed to open a shop even if I can't remember it. 

"So how did Hui Yun become pregnant?" I asked Wei Wei. "A one-night stand," she began and explained everything that happened between the two. "AH?" I screamed as everyone turned to look at me. "Nothing," I denied as everyone looked away.
