Chapter 6: What happened next:

Qi Yan side:

The atmosphere around me become more lively as Hui Qing at that stupid rascal step up onto the stage and took a nice dance. Nice is already a good word to describe, stupid man how dare he takes that space next to Hui Qing. Never mind sooner or later she is mine no matter if she agrees or not. I want a dance :(. Would she ask me? I saw that the dance had ended and from my angle, I thought she was walking towards me but she seem to be kidnapped by her relative, I wanted to go and save her but no I was late once again, that dratted rascal playboy how dare he takes my spot. I was fuming with anger and the air around me began to go cold even the ladies that were trying to act coy and, all took a step back. But that anger was despised as Hui Qing looked over me with her brown hazel eyes my heart thumped even more and I turn away smiling, as the surrounding ladies gasp in shock. I return my expression and took a stride toward Hui Qing. When I joined her group she was already talking with her bestie what was her name? I think I did research her, ah yes Xiu Ying the woman cheating with her BFF's boyfriend, does Hui Qing know I wonder? Probably not or she wouldn't be talking so nicely to Xiu Ying.

" Aiyo isn't this Qi Yan the first grandson of Qi Yu, the heir presumptive to the Phoenix Entertainment company*(1)? Why is he walking towards the birthday girl?" Whispers like this went around I for once didn't care cause about tonight she would finally be mine and only mine. " Hello, Miss Fu do you remember me?" I asked whilst greeting her, " Oh hello Mister?" she replied. " Qi Yan," I answered and began telling her we were playmates once in childhood, " Oh," she replied 'was that it? Only an oh?'. She turned away from me and began talking to her boyfriend, to be honest, not many people no Hui Qing is dating apart from family and friends so to everyone it only seem as though Hui Qing was talking to her classmate but I knew that wasn't the case probably which my heart hurt. ' She wasn't even talking to me, did I offend her without knowing? Why is she ignoring me? Does she not like me? oh, know why?' thought as this circled my head as I heard a burst of sweet laughter that brought me back into focus oh so it was Hui Qing who was laughing with Wei Wu Xian, Xiu Ying and her boyfriend they all look so nice together but only I knew he truth behind the lies as much as I wanted to tell Hui Qing but I didn't want to hurt her, besides it's not my place to say anything. She would just hate me even more, what am I gonna do?

Hui Qing Side:

'OMG, why is Qi Yan looking at me? why is he walking towards me? Wait what am I going to say if he talks to me? Ah, he's talking to me... Why did I only say hello, I obviously knew who he was yet I made out I didn't. OML I'm such a dufus, I sound so horrible. The wait would he think badly of him since I wasn't talking to him? Please don't it's just I don't know what to say or do, ah I feel like a young teenager in love even though I'm mentally 29. As the saying goes I think spring has hit for me*(2).' " Hui Qing, Hui Qing," Xian ge shouted as I zoned back into focus " Gosh Jia you're always like that," Xiu Ying laughed as I wanted to rip her face off but still joined in on the laughter. ' Has this damn drug worked yet? I've asked someone to set cameras in all of the guest rooms in case they're led to the wrong one and I don't get good footage for the breakup and proof '. " Aiyo Jia my head hurts a bit I think \ I'm gonna go into a spare room to sit down," Xiu Ying exclaimed whilst holding her head ' is it finally working? YES !!! it seems so. " ah I asked someone to send you into a guest room, Luo Ning can you accompany her?" I asked as I motioned to a waiter " Take them to room 4," I commanded whilst putting Xiu Ying's hand on Luo Ning's shoulder not even letting him have a chance to escape and luckily for me he didn't. I watched these two walk away and my heart gritted Luo Wen Ning, Fen Xiu Ying this is what you guys made me do, I hate you both'.

I didn't have more time to glare at them as gege motioned for me to come with him I glanced at the clock it was 21.39 the same time Father pulled me aside and onto the stage to announce the engagement. Not a minute before or less, huh what will come would always arrive, 'oh well how did I react last time? Oh Yeah, I remember.

FLASHBACK:

I remember being drugged and just as I was finishing my conversation with Xiu Ying gege called me over to my father and he dragged me onto the stage, then was when the nightmare of my life began. " Hello, can I have everyone's attention?" Father asked whilst clinking a fork onto a glass cup, everyone quiet down as he began his speech "Today not only is the celebration for my daughter's birthday but also of her engagement," I remember how my heart sank as I heard these words, I must have been stupid these words were a blessing in disguise. " I now can announce that the rumours of talk of engagement between Qi family's eldest grandson Qi Yan and my daughter Fu Hui Qing are true. They would be having their engagement party in 3 months as for when they would get married let us leave it to the young to decide," he finished. I remember how my face showed an ugly colour and I ran off stage to another room opposite the hall in our separate villa by the beach*(3). Because of my behaviour, many rumours popped up the next day that I thought too highly of myself and I didn't deserve Qi Yan. To be honest the only reason I ran away was that I had hoped that Luo Ning would be my husband but my parents had made this choice without asking me. We had a very big argument which ended up me running back home and leaving them to deal with the mess I left behind. I had drunk a lot of wine and got raped by an old man and was caught with reporters the next day at the hotel, exactly like Xiu Ying and Luo Ning how had planned. my reputation was ruined.. 3 months later we were engaged and I hated it, a year after that we were married every day I tried every part of suicide and only kept my life because I was scared that Luo Ning would be sad. I made a promise to myself on our wedding day that I would keep never letting Qi Yan touch me, well that never happened. Qi Yan raped me or so I say, he was drunk and he had forced me to consummate our marriage. I got pregnant just in one shot I was kinda surprised but I aborted without Qi Yan knowing. When he did he locked me up at home not letting me take a step out of my house after 6 months he let me back out, yet he still didn't sign the agreement for divorce. In the end I filed for a one side divorce and we were sperate.

But this time it's going to change, I'm not letting myself fall back into that hole. And my child would be able to grow up in a happy household

It is quite known in China as they have many different sites, but its main office is in Beijing. The company built up all kinds of people making them famous and wanted in every director's movie.

2. It's an old mandarin saying that means someone is falling in love or that's how I understood it.

3. Let's just clarify that the party is being held in a separate villa that the Fu family owns by the beach, not actually in the house they currently live in. This villa is just for them to have parties and celebrations.
